I have 2 female Pekins. They are so much fun, watching them march around my yard, and splash in the kiddle pool. They lay beautiful eggs, yokes as yellow as the sun, great for baking!
My female pekin did this everytime i went to pet her and id be like " I AM NOT YOUR MATE" 😂
It's assuming the mating position, it thinks you're the alpha.
I would love to pet
She thinks you are mating with her. We call that position "love raft" lol
It sure nice to touch and hug it
Lol my females do the same thing before my drake mounts 😂😂

Pekin ducks almost look enough like geese, except I don't think they as much territorial as 'em, if they chose to be.
I have to gets my ducks, and they try to bite me cuz they don't like to be held..:(
