You're holding the tool wrong (180*), and using the tool incorrectly. It's actually surprisingly capable, as long as you understand the use scenario.

    Thanks for the video
Just bought one with an extra auger blade. 6" line's up perfect for the pin 4" does not have to drill it out. Also my instructions say to hold the handles 180 degrees from how you are operating it.

Thanks for doing this. I was between the Ryobi 40-volt and this 18-volt . I don't think the 18V could handled my rocky mountain decomposed granite. Much of what you said while operating it outside was drowned out by wind and traffic, but with captions on I got the main idea.

Thank you! I'm trying to learn about augers because I'm too old, weak & little to " run" a post-hole digger anymore & have no one to help me "do the hard things" anymore. The 40 V looked too expensive & powerful for me & this looks pretty darn powerful, too! ( Probably weighs as much as I could handle, too!) Next stop> Price & Availability > Shabbat Shalom ❣️

it's grabbing because you are not cleaning out the hole by lifting it up in the forward position. And dont start it while at the bottom of the hole.

Thank you for the tips. However it was grabbing on some tree roots that were in that particular section of yard. Thanks for watching!😊

have you tried changing the auger blade to a larger size , 8 or 10" blade. is it a standard size to accept other bits? Or is it OEM

I was using the blade that it came with. I am not sure at this point if Ryobi or any other types of blades are available.

Even though it is a diy corporation I have about 12tools and bought a augur 1year ago drilled over 200 holes no problem. Get a gas powered one be a real man

I just got this today, after installing the auger, the auger is a bit wobbly, is that normal ?

Mine wobbles a small amount. It doesn't seem to affect the performance.

The toggle switch isn't great, but it is a solid piece of hardware that does the job in the right conditions. Thanks for watching! 😊

Rameez... because .... it's not helpful to comment like this. Otherwise it's an opinion.
