I just bought one of these and thought I'd watch some reviews while I wait for it to arrive. Realizing that this was obviously released in Australia before here in the US.
    Thanks for the video!

It’s still going strong. The auto stop is both a pain and a god sent. Rocks and roots make it hard no matter what method your digging with. Lol.
You want to get the hole dug but it saves your hands and arms

Thank you for this. I have been on the fence as I live in Australia with rock hard ground. I am going to get one as I like the idea it doesn’t break your arm off when it does hit something

I haven’t used the 36volt one bet apparently it works great. I mainly use the 18volt now to till up the raised garden beds. It comes in handy and is a massive time saver

Would love to see something like this in the US, particularly on the 40V system.

They should have made it so you could use dual batteries for more power and maybe have one of the big 40v models too. Probably won't replace a gas one, but could still be a good contender :D

Loved the video- RYOBI ONE+ 18V Planting & Digging Tool - Auger still not available in UK. search high and dry You should start selling this to us UK customers for reasonable price still making profits. That would be great. It is Japan made but can't find anyone selling on line.

I live in an area of hard ground. Grey clay. It would have to have the 40 volt battery.

The 18 works amazingly well (it really surprised me) but the 40 is on par with some petrol/gas ones.

Not a bad idea. I have the 18V ONE+ chainsaw, and I have two batteries each of 4Ah and 1.5Ah - the 1.5Ah are worthless in that tool, and I just save use of those batteries for activity that is lighter duty.
