At last a video with a literal progression. The Corax is my love, the only ship that helped me get into content, and into Eve. But i noticed that is not a pretty reliable ship for the more high tear content , and as an alpha, is hard to understant in what to train so that you wont ruin your gameplay in the future. Now i have a goal. Thank you 🥂

Hi y t, just following up on this now. Hope you're still enjoying Eve and getting what you want from it. In case you haven't been keeping up with the recent changes to the skill planner etc. you can now do a simulated fit in the ship fitting window, and then drag that fit into the skill planner page of the skills window and it will create a plan for you with all the skills you need to fly that ship. Bear in mind this will be the bare minimum so might want to train up the skills a bit further but it will tell you how long you have, and what skills you need to train, to get into that fit. Hope that helps!
bought the worm (T1 Exotic) ship yesterday, fully fit in amarr, 120mil, prices gone up since the video was made, still easy to complete the sites, nice isk, done about 3 sites to test it and made 11mil in 15-20mins. No special drops been had. i think 60mil/h is a bit optimistic, or maybe i didnt fly very optimal
i followed all the steps an the required skills to use the WORM ship but its not letting me use all the weapons with the shield because of a cpu limit ?? is there some thing you did to make more cpu that wasn't in the video ?
Have you done a video about the structures? I had a medium-Range Deviant Automata in a t1..... quite hard to do with a Dragoon when even the structure is out to do you over when it was shooting down drones and missiles!
Hello Aceface, first off, thanks for helping the newbros like myself out here. Do you have the skillplan for the Abyss fits 0-6 or do you "just" straight train the magic 13?
With the reliance on missiles and drones what are the ways to work around deviant automata suppressors? Last run I did the enemy was flying to the tower at warp in and when I approached the rat was quite content to just sit out on the edge of the arena within range of the tower. There was one of those "go fast" clouds in the area so maybe that was "trapping" the rat there? Luckily I had autocannons but if you're going missiles and drones how'd you not die to a situation like that? Would the light missiles you use on these be fast enough to bypass the towers? Or are you typically able to pull rats away from towers?
stuff like rogue drone overmind and karybdis tyrannos keep range from you so you can take advantage out of this and sort of push them out of it. also your drones and missiles especially in the gila wont be affected that much since the drones of the gila have hp buffed up a lot. its more of an annoyance rather than a serious threat. I just try to maneuver around them. I think the reason ccp added them is because drone/missile boats are very potent in these sites just to nerf them a bit.
great video, got me in to the abyss so thank you. I made the second t1 dragoon on this video, went in and got absolutely hammered :) am I suppose to wait to launch my drones until i pull aggro? thanks again.
I'm new to this game, and I appreciate all the new content you're putting, I'm still reluctant to try abyssals though, as my entire networth is 40m, and I know I'm gonna mess up and lose a 10m ship..
I know how you feel, followed a different guide and put 11 million into a ship. Went in with only one set of charges limiting my turets range to 7500 max. The final set of enemies orbitted me at 10,000 out of my turret range and slowly but surely wasted away at my time causing my ship to go bye bye. All part of the learning process i guess lol
if you don't want to run Abyss you can also use the Corax fit to run Gurista Sites for some easy money, you should be able to solo almost all sites in high-sec with that fit (I've done a bunch today and it worked great)
if you are at that networth, corax will be an excellent start, very easy to get into with minimal risk. If you are really worried about risk I also got a thrasher fit that just tanks everything up close th-cam.com/video/8ktR62apYQE/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Aceface
You can start doing L0 sites. Those are very easy, fast to do and for frigates will drop around 2mil ISK each. It's easy 8-10 mils/hour with no risk at all. Passive shield Merlin or active armor Punisher do L0 no problem at ~10 minuits.
Hello, thank you for this video very complete. So, you talk about ganking. Where do you recommend to start a filament ? HS, LS, NS ( alliance region of course ) ?
Are there ship restrictions? I’ve spent the last few years in null with astero or running L4s in Navy Dominix. I don’t have diddly in shield or missile skills but a lot of armor tank in the NDI. Thanks for the video, really well done!
This is probably a stupid question but how are you soloing with Frigates and Destroyers? Or do you have tro Fleet up to use the smaller ships? I can't afford to get Gilas everytime I get killed. And the filements say you must fleet up to activate. Great viudeo by the way!
@@Aceyface I have been playing for awhile, but you can make a fleet from more than one of your ships at a time on the same account? Or do you need a second account that you can use a ship from and just not take it to the filament site...? This probably sounds stupid, but I love the Abyss runs and cheap solo makes much more sense than Gila runs where I lose half the time...
yeh if you are experienced player and havent done abyss before dont start right of the bat with blingy ships. im not able to beat any of the t5-t6 abyss sites in test server yet
Love your videos! I've recently came back from a hiatus from eve, and am excited to get into the abyssals thanks to your videos. I do have a question. Are the t4 t5 and t6 electrical not as profitable as the gammas/exotic at those tiers? And what changes would I make to the t6 bling gila to run t6 electrical (if they are worth it) I've just poked into my first t0 and t1 s using your fits and love it.my guess would be to swap the afterburner for mwd and one of the cap batteries for a shield booster, but would like your input.
The only problem I have with this video, is that I didn't find it early enough. Sweating and risking my a** off with relic/data sites for ~30m/hr, and now I have this.
Hey @Aceface, you are doing a great work with your content, thank you for existing. I am aiming for a Sacrilege at the moment, is there anyway to make it work in higher tiers? Any tips & tricks what to expect from T4/T5? Am I going to die a lot?
hey Aceface, bit late to ask but I was wondering if you can take these builds a tier lower than they were intented for too? For example: Will the T5 electic Gila fit survive T0-T4 Electric as well?
GJ on that on good damn Caldari...you have a Gallente build with rails? who have 2 days of waiting..? i neeeed the fix NOW to gallente :D btw you doing a great job overall
Is there any reason you wouldn't fly your T5 gila Electric fit in a T4 electric to get used to the shield tank going from passive to active? Is the difficulty enough lower to warrant a few runs? Any reason NOT to other than Isk/hr? Thanks!
Haven't played in years but debating making a comeback, trained in all caldari before I quit and doing early T5 missions in tengu, still a reliable setup or should I look at switching?
hi, did you have a good coop destroyer fittings? or is it possible to fly in coop absys in 2 cruiser? i dont know how you can bit in destroyer absys lvl 4+ or higher
I don't know if this question will be answered here, but I don't know where else to look. So i'm currently using the Worm fit for T1 exotics, and with my current skills i actually have more DPS that it shows in your video, BUT my defenses are lower, and im not sure what skills would improve it. I've got most Shield skills to 4-5 that i can see that would imporve those stats, but i may be missing some. The one's I have to 5 are: Shield Emission Systems, Shield Managment, Shield Operation, Shield Upgrades, Tactial Shield manipulation, and Shield Compensation. Since this is a Shield tank, i would assume that i really only need Shield skills, but i may be wrong obviously. Any help would be very appriciated. I can do the sites pretty easily still, but i'm just curious why my stats are different.
What about a sentry ishtar? kinda wanna try that. Might not be enough dps. I don't recall what a bouncerII setup did but I doubt it was over 900dps. I used to do 10/10 deadspaces in it solo but started adding a stealth bomber because much faster. Heh. This was 10 years ago.
So I noticed It takes multiple filaments for a Destroyer, would it be better isk/h with a frigate instead for t0 ? Not sure if you made a video about that already. I use Caldari ships. I use your Corax build right now and it works well, but I feel like it lacks capacitor, making the process a bit slow.
Bro, this is just amazing! I sent you an in-game mail to thank you for this content hehehe. I've tried to run T1 Electric with your Dragoon Upgraded Template and unfortunately I ended up blowing up. Any advice will be highly appreciated. Love your content bro....
The video is more than a year old. The rooms seem to have changed, is fit relevant? Tell me what skills are needed for T5 electric, maybe a picture? I'm afraid to go there, I'm too young, my first omega is just being planned, 4kk sp. And for t4 gamma, which set of implants is suitable to feel confident? I made 98 sorties in t3 gamma quite confidently, with a large margin, and then something happened and my drones could not kill the neutric in any way, the character died.
Very very interesting but I'm a bit curious if i could do a less blingy version of ur gila for something like t3-4 exotics as a way of practicing because changing weather types can be rough and throw u off balance in regards to how u fly / targets
definitely could, but its pretty much same targt prioritisation. I just recommend them because for their cost they tend to perform better than active gilas. for active gilas to be good generally you need to bling a lot otherwise better to go passive.
So im fairly new. Are others players able to come into the abyss to kill me or is it only me vs npcs? I activated one in an asteroid belt in front if 5 other players and was just wondering haha. Also great video very helpful
no but its a quite common thing that people suicuide gank you when you exit because people in higher tier abyss tend to carry expensive stuff thats worth stealing
The first dragoon build doesn't seem to work, the T1 drones aren't strong enough to take down all the enemies in time, even if you can survive up until the last second. I think T2 drones are required for T1 Electric. For T0 Electric it works just fine.
Hi Ace. I'm new to EVE, and I'm with the Gallente. Now I ask myself, did I choose the wrong faction? Since you don't have a ship of the Gallente Faction in your tutorial. But I have to admit that I haven't really informed myself about the Abyss yet, so I don't know the opponents. But if you can earn ISK so well and that even with beginner ships like destroyers. Then I think it's quite an interesting thing, for me beginners. But as I said, I belong to the Gallente. And when I watch your videos. I don't see a ship I could use at the moment to visit the Abyss. In order to use the ships from your Tuorial, I have to learn additional ship skills from the Caldari and Amari, isn't that right? Or could you take a Catalyst and make a video of it?
i don t know mate i want to do abyssal but every f time i do i loose a 2 3 b gila till now i did like 30 40 sites and when the edencome wave come i die in less then 5 sec i don t get it some help pls
I tried to use a dragoon to run t1 abyss ages ago . my was fit was proabaly bad. overall i really like this desyroer. I like long ranged ships. dragoon and ammar drone boats can be fitted with missles and drones. dragoon is proably my favourite t1 desytroyer. Dragoon, Arbitrator , Prophecy , Armageddon, sunesis,Gnosis,Praxis ,rattlesnake, gila, worm. those ships are great for players that like missle/drone based ships. those ships are great.
@@kronoscamron7412 yeah its too slow to kite the devoted knight so you cant use this. what i meant was that its decent ship. its might not be able to handle the devoted knight due to being slow and having bigger signture radius than frigate . easier to get hit by rats.you also cant win vs kiki+ dama room with it. i tried few time.
@@kronoscamron7412 use a worm for t1 exotics or stick to farming t0 gamma really fast in t1 desytroer or frig until you trained for a worm. punisher can solo dcently fast t0 gamma even tho its not the right damge to deal. you only need to kill a frig per room or few frig drones. t0 gamma are cheapest filments you can run.be cap stable with it. with a worm you just send you're drones to attack the dk and run away from him. in angle. not stright line so he wont hit you as hard and as much. tbh he gave me alot of problems even with a worm.
@@happyhour5419thank you I will do that, I will do T0 for now ,till I trained and got enough ISK for a Worm or a Gila. I have a caracal and an Omen but I will stick to frigs since they give better ISK.
Hello, new player here, i have been watching your guides and i have a question. For T0 should i use the corax or the thrasher you recommend on your guide part 10? Im a bit confused cuz you say in the vid that ppl where dying with the corax fit, or maybe this corax is updated? Thank you a lot for your vids.
Yeah the corax fit i linked in this video is updated. Thrasher also works fine too, whichever you prefer. Corax is slightly faster but also less tanky than a thrasher but both work well. really depends on your preference and there are many other ways to tackel t0 too, these are just suggestions from myself
Ran a couple T3 exotic sites in that gila. I have 700DPS and it gave me around 8-10M per run or 50-60M per hour. I'd rather recommend to run T1 in hawk or worm as they're a lot cheaper
I don't have my skills up for tech 2 missile launchers but I have a 201 dps from a navy osprey. When waiting for the skills to train, can I just use that ship until buying a dragoon?
@Aceface When you post the earning per hour have you taken away the price of the filaments? Never run any yet but your videos have made me curious to what i'm missing
So I fitted a corax just like u..tried to start a tranquil filament and it said its not compatible with my ship? omega clone..and I've got a fair bit of skills
Just came back to game after a long break, and saw this video. bought me a worm and kinda blinged it cause I had some stuff, and didnt even jump out of my training pod before going to do first calm exotic. Crashed on entering, lost everything.

Glad I could help😁😁😁

@@Aceyface recently got into eve myself how do get on the test server what exactly is that?
I enjoyed this! :)
bought the worm (T1 Exotic) ship yesterday, fully fit in amarr, 120mil, prices gone up since the video was made, still easy to complete the sites, nice isk, done about 3 sites to test it and made 11mil in 15-20mins. No special drops been had. i think 60mil/h is a bit optimistic, or maybe i didnt fly very optimal
That estimate is not for your starting few runs, it's for after you know what you are doing and are running very efficiently.
i followed all the steps an the required skills to use the WORM ship but its not letting me use all the weapons with the shield because of a cpu limit ?? is there some thing you did to make more cpu that wasn't in the video ?
@@Aceyface Thanks for the reply
great video, got me in to the abyss so thank you. I made the second t1 dragoon on this video, went in and got absolutely hammered :) am I suppose to wait to launch my drones until i pull aggro? thanks again.
Amazing guide, thanks alot man :)
There is a 2.27 mil isk thrasher fit that does t0 with ease and the super troop guy.(can't remember the name)
Great guide. Thank you!!
Great viudeo by the way!
you just make a fleet with yourself and bring multiple filaments (2 for destroyer, 3 for frigate)
Sweating and risking my a** off with relic/data sites for ~30m/hr, and now I have this.
is it still realistic to pull 430m or are these fantasy numbers in practice?
Hey @Aceface, you are doing a great work with your content, thank you for existing. I am aiming for a Sacrilege at the moment, is there anyway to make it work in higher tiers? Any tips & tricks what to expect from T4/T5? Am I going to die a lot?
hey Aceface, bit late to ask but I was wondering if you can take these builds a tier lower than they were intented for too? For example: Will the T5 electic Gila fit survive T0-T4 Electric as well?
of course! will just be easier ;)
great video...subbed
I can do the sites pretty easily still, but i'm just curious why my stats are different.
players in eve notoriously over exaggerate how much they make. In reality, expect to make closer to 25% of the values.
What about a sentry ishtar? kinda wanna try that. Might not be enough dps. I don't recall what a bouncerII setup did but I doubt it was over 900dps. I used to do 10/10 deadspaces in it solo but started adding a stealth bomber because much faster. Heh. This was 10 years ago.
question.. since smaller ships have a loot multiplier, can lower tier filaments end up being worth more than higher tier ones ran in a cruiser?
So I noticed It takes multiple filaments for a Destroyer, would it be better isk/h with a frigate instead for t0 ? Not sure if you made a video about that already. I use Caldari ships.
I use your Corax build right now and it works well, but I feel like it lacks capacitor, making the process a bit slow.
Bro, this is just amazing! I sent you an in-game mail to thank you for this content hehehe. I've tried to run T1 Electric with your Dragoon Upgraded Template and unfortunately I ended up blowing up. Any advice will be highly appreciated. Love your content bro....
tried the t1 dragoon, it does not work
The video is more than a year old.
Thanks for the great content! I must be blind, but where are the actual fits?
no problem! description
HOLY TASKBAR BATMAN LOL like your whole computer is down there
nice vid, can you do another one for pure 3x frigate abyss? :D
Great video!
What's a good fit for Minmatar?
Assume perfect skills for frigates, destroyers, cruisers and tech 3.
Would want to run T3s, T4s and T5s.
I got destroyed in T1 electrical by a devoted knight.
@@happyhour5419 true, he also killed my caracal , how do you think I should defeat DK with a caracal ?
What would be a good ship to clear C1-C2 wormhole gas sites / combat sites as well as T2 abyss?
Would you revisit this list and update it? Some of the ship still work, some don't :) It's a really good list
As this video is 1yr old, are the fits etc still relevant?
Yep!
@@Aceyface currently sat at work watching your T0 to T6 series lol, did you end up going for the Zealot? Lol
Is this still up to date?
Gila T4 why don't you use a Multispectrum Shield Hardener? Or the active Thermal Shield Hardeners? Whats the clue behind that?
Are you looking all caches or just Bio-adaptive?
Err looting*
with frigate/destroyer, only bio adaptive. in t4+ try for extractions too when possible
Ran a couple T3 exotic sites in that gila. I have 700DPS and it gave me around 8-10M per run or 50-60M per hour. I'd rather recommend to run T1 in hawk or worm as they're a lot cheaper
are theses fits still relevant becuase I seen other fits on your channel but just wanted to make sure?
this fits are for solo playing? i mean dragoon, corax and worm ofc.
I don't have my skills up for tech 2 missile launchers but I have a 201 dps from a navy osprey. When waiting for the skills to train, can I just use that ship until buying a dragoon?
For tier zero I like to use a duel rep thrasher it blitzes them In well under 5 minutes
I got pretty good skills, almost maxed on the corax. Do you think T1 would work?
IDK which video was first but in your part 10 guide you said, that you were mistaken with Corax fit
So is this video still viable?
This is a new fit
Just wondering if this is still valid as these missions ask for 3 frigates or 2 destroyers to be in the fleet in order to enter?
@Aceface When you post the earning per hour have you taken away the price of the filaments? Never run any yet but your videos have made me curious to what i'm missing
I have but I realise now that the T3 is a bit off
@@Aceyface In your video about the Corax I think you did not subtract the ten filaments you brought with you. Am I right?
So I fitted a corax just like u..tried to start a tranquil filament and it said its not compatible with my ship? omega clone..and I've got a fair bit of skills
Just came back to game after a long break, and saw this video. bought me a worm and kinda blinged it cause I had some stuff, and didnt even jump out of my training pod before going to do first calm exotic. Crashed on entering, lost everything.
