Omg i was running this exact fit for first time, in a t3 for first time, and came up against tyrannos at the end, and oh my god, i literally, and i mean literally, no exaggeration whatsoever, escaped with 1-2 seconds left on the clock, had issues getting in range of it with my drones (only 55km range control), and he was tearing me apart. At the very end when there was still 30 secs left on the clock, i took the gamble to get within 30km range of him with my missiles, got a couple of volleys off before getting back in range to activate the conduit in time, i watched my drones finish him off as the clock counted down, had to abandon them, there was no time. Wow that was heart racing. Didn't even have the isk to hand to replace the ship. Huge but a scary W :D
p.s. nothing wrong with the fit, my drone skills just need improving

Hello Aceface, love your content. Got from T0 to T3 thanks to your content and all the helpful comments under each video. Just wanted to make a quick observation in regards to this T3 build.
Each filament costs about 2M currently on Jita and you get around 12M per run meaning you are netting on average about 10M ISK per run. Gamma sites tends to take longer to complete and I, an average pilot, can complete about 4-5 runs per hour, netting me 40-50M isk per hour. Could be due to my poor piloting but thats how many I can do in an hour.
On the other hand, your T1 Worm blitz build finishes a site in about 5-7 mins. I can complete about 8-10 sites an hour. Each site nets about 4.5-5M after filament costs netting around 40-50M isk just like this build. Not to mention, its far safer and the ship you’re risking costs less than half of this one. Its seems to me that the current risk/reward ratio simply does not seem to justify this build at the moment. What are your thoughts about that?

🛑NOTE🛑: when it comes to the upgrade path at 2:07. Use Republic fleet large shield extenders instead of caldari navy. Republic fleet have even less power grid requirements than caldari navy so are better if you have power grid issues.
so if power grid is not an issue for me you recommend going for the caldari or the republic fleet version?
Not only but Republic's have 5m less signature radius compared to Caldary's
@@danielrapsody2204 doesnt matter really whichever is cheapest, both give same shield but seems like according to Geo Kar they are a bit better still republic fleet because of less sig radius

The max recharge rate for shield and capacitor is actually at 25% but you should pay attention once it dips below 30%
That's only on paper.
You can't make a fit that is cap stable at 25%. Or 27%. Or 29%. The best you can get is 32 - 33%.

I have absolutely max alpha skills and you have about 20 more DPS.. Your drones do more than mine do 475.7 total 331.7 drones only. you have a skill that's higher than an alpha can reach.
Note I do have a -1% rapid launch implant when looking at the build, so my missile damage is higher than it should be and I still don't have the same DPS.
Where can I see which skills I need to get the same DPS as you? I built this Gila fit, but I am only at 331 DPS (Missile 108, Drone 223).
Does switching out one large Large Shield Extender II and the Pithum A-Type Thermal Shield Amplifier for Thermal Shield Amplifier II and EM Shield Amplifier II increase the survivability?
this is amazing fit, i run the Abyss like king, 3 days I take 1bil isk wow , I use Mobile Tractor Unit so i take almost everything :P good job with these videos thank you !

Are you picking up side cans in cruiser runs, or do you MTU them or do you skip them?
Grab the ones you know you have time for, as well as if its the right room/wave burn immediately for the cans and then the bio cache should be good. Just watch the time. 6 minutes per room
Can you run T4's in this fit as omega or should you use one of your other fits? Also how did you think up your name and pfp?
Very possible with omega, I make a video in a few days about omega and t4s in a very similar fit.

Im close to this fit now. 130 insted of 136 hps and 37k instead of 39k EHP, mainly i think because of my 4% in Shield resist whats missing. but my dmg still very low :D need about 1 week to get my Drones up. i got 400 dps atm... would you try this alrdy? :)
And how about take out my afterburner? do i need it in there afterall? and maybe put in there a EM resist for the Elite Lucifers?

I would really love to know what skills were used on an "alpha" account because as an omega I'm not even coming close to your DPS even with implants and my first run cost me 500 million because i ran out of time. 100% not sure this is a valid fitting for T3 Gama

Is it better to use Scourge and Inferno missiles like you do here over nova (explosion dmg)? I know the gila gets a bonus to the other dmg types but then the abyss gives -50% to explosive. Can you explain why you go with scourge/inferno over nova?
All guristas ships get a bonus to kinetic or thermal Missile damage.
Thinking about starting this method as a new ish player. What do you recommend me doing as the golden rules i cannot break?
Why a Thermal Shield Amp instead of an EM or Explosive? Do the rats tend towards more Thermal than EM or Explosive? Or is it because it's best to leave the holes and just focus on the EM and Explosive rats and then tank the rest of the rats that just do Thermal and Kinetic?
Nice man passive fits are easier for alphas but tbh just pulled out a t4 gamma with full tech 2 fit was pretty lucky😂

No, the sites are limited to 1 cruiser, 2 destroyers, or 3 frigates.

I think that's too low. Haven't tried with specifically that DPS but I think it'll be too slow that dangerous spawns could maybe get you. Try getting something like 450 DPS

The missiles you have listed can't be used with the rapid missile launchers, they are regular missiles but the only missiles I can load into the launchers are the auto targeting missiles

What would a good regen/second target be for this Gila fit? Would 120 shield/s be okay?
yea, for T3 for sure, if you can boost it to say 160/170 with strong resistances (65% for all) you can go T4 safely
But for that id rather go with an active gila rather than passive regen

i started as a Gallente was wondering if there are any good fits for a Gallente Alpha clone sins i trained up in my factions ships because was planning to fly drone boats was wondering if i can fly some thing like a Vexor Navy Issue according to most of your videos and other content creators you can only start as a Caldari if you want to do Abyssal Deadspace could you maybe see if you can make builds for the other left out races like Gallente, Minmatar and Ammar sins not every one starts as Caldari the other 75% of the community is just left out i don't think that's fair do you
the Gila need both Gallente and Caldari skills (gallente for the drones, caldari for the shield tank) so fist training for the Worm and later for the Gila is a good path for both Caldari and Gallente pilots.
What are the advantages of light missies versus heavy missiles? Sure, heavies kind of suck versus frigates but that's what the drones are for, right? Light missiles are kind of 'meh' against the larger targets and those rapid launchers are *horrible* when it comes to reloading.
I happen to have a scourge precision HM and Inferno fury LM BPOs which aren't terribly expensive to manufacture, just have to choose which would be better versus the pocket frigates (precision better than fury due to explosion radius).

Why thermal shield amplifier? I'm a newbro and trying to figure it out. Wouldn't it make sense to plug the EM hole or to fit Explosive resist to counteract the abyss drawbacks?
ah found an answer in comments, so thermal seems to be more important than others in abyss so much that it doesn't make sense to plug em hole, everyone just mostly does thermal damage do they?

@@Aceyface well I'm just starting out and have omega too, so far just doing Abyssals for the fun of it, T0 for now... but the cash would be nice to have in the end. Do you think it's still profitable to go down the abyssal road to eventually farm T5/T6 abyssals for ISK or there's some new better thing to do?
Also does it make sense to put in a shield hardener instead of one of shield extenders, just so that in case some EM or some other damage enemies get close and I have a resist hole there and i'm not neuted currently I could turn it on? I'm just worried about the EM hole mostly.
Can I consider using one heavy missile launcher like you do on your T5 Electric and T6 Exotic?

Drones don't need cap to work. Rocket launchers don't need cap to work. Passive shield regeneration don't need cap to work.
You need cap only for afterburner to get better speed.
You say the word Marshall a lot, but I don't see that word anywhere on the screen, so I'm not quite sure what you're referring to.
Do you expect this method to change or is it stable? I'm asking because i'm a few days away from being able to do it. Is CCP known for changing those alpha walk arounds?

I tried to adjust the fit with a MWD. It made me get loot alot faster.
Not a good idea because it massivly increases your signature radius.

I dont know if this fit is capable of it, but I prefer running T3 firestorm as an alpha. They are dirt cheap and get better loot overall. I can do about 4 an hour getting all the cans. The fit is a bit expensive but it can also run T4 firestorms as an alpha, but with the severe disparity between alpha/omega I dont do it. It is risky.

This is the full build for T5, it does FS and the other weathers as well (as omega). Obviously, use cheaper modules if you are only doing T3 as an alpha, but if you can afford it, it can safely run T4 FS as well as an alpha.
IF you start T5 , be very careful with the BS marshal wave with blue clouds. I died in 30s in it, the dps is just insane.

Brother this fit dont have only Alpha skills in it. you clearly have more skills in shield and drones, no doubt about it. Almost 30dps more in drones, almost 1k more ehp and 2 more hp/s. A total of 40 dps more then a Alpha would (im not all maxxed out in missiles but maxxed in drones and shields). So please dont put that in the title becouse you are making some people lose their ships and as an Alpha i can tell it is hell to make enough money to get a full fitted Gila. And yes, people can loose their ships becouse of that "little" diference. I didnt, but reding the comments and talking to people in Abyssal Lurkers chat channel you can see its quiet easy for that to happen.
I didn't watch the video yet and didn't try the fit, but he clearly said ppl can have some difficulties because of skills at the start of vid

How do you come to 80m/h I tried like 10 times and the avg loot for each Abyss was less than 10m. I you substract the cost of the filament its aroung 7-8m eache run and you can do 3 per hour. I loot every cache when possible. I'm nearly max skills for alpha player.
dont go for every cache
yeah you're killing yourself going for every cache. you need an entirely different fit for that, one that focuses movespeed with a mwd, or alternatively some kind of mobile tractor unit shenanigans

i did an t2 run just to look if iam able to do it with the fit and skills i got......
goot 2 rooms with battleships and the last one with 10 frigs -.-
dornes delt 50dmg, couldnt get into range fast enough with ma rockets and now iam 450mil poorer then bevore

@@blurr336 there are skills in engineering that do stuff like +5% power grid per level, +5% cpu output per level, those are energy grid upgrades and something cpu related. Then there are skills that reduce cpu/power grid (or capacitor) requirements of modules you fit.
Quite a lot of them actually. Those don't show up in your "needed to fly this" List because they are not required to run any individual module. They are needed however, to fly the ship running ALL the modules at the same time.
why the thermal shield resist instead of multi?
uses cap and thermal is extremely important in abyss

i tried this and died to the first wave. drones were shooting, missiles were firing. but i died to the last rat on site which was a battleship.

I've played eve years ago, but a complete newbie at this point. If i watch a guide video, i want it to be just that, a guide. I know i suck, but there should be a way to make it easier for newbies.
How much isk an hour are those?
about 80mil/h but depends a lot on the drops. Sometimes you can get very expensive filaments and get even more. Sometimes it can be crap like this run and be less.
@@Aceyface on average? no way this is 80m per hour. maybe 50m at best. I think i might pratice this on test sever to get feel on how to pilot this so i wont mess up if i do try it for real.
I thank you for actually puting the efffort to make a viable fit for for alpah. im not alpah but i do need to get better skill. it would be nice to try out t3 and see how it is.

@@0XZenerX0 Was that the same direction as the enemies though? If you fly directly at the enemies their turrets don't have to track you and will hit you harder. You need transverse velocity (perpendicular) to the direction the enemies are from you. In his video, when he went for the cache, the enemies were at his 3 and so almost all of his forward velocity was transverse for them and their turrets had a harder time tracking him.
