This video has nothing to do with whether or not skillpoint farming is profitable or not. I am just showing how I make a skillpoint alt to get as much skillpoints as possible in shortest amount of time possible.
You could save even more ISK setting the farm up if you only buy the 2 implants to boost the primary and secondary attribute of the skills your training - given that you already chose the skills to have the same primary/secondary attributes!
@@xPreatorianx1 You just need 2, get perception and wilpower implants, remap your attributes for max perception and whats left to willpower. Train any race battle crusier to 5. You get 3 injectors per month, well its a little more but you can't take halves... well after you have cybernetic 5

(This is more for the posters below who doubt it can be profitable) I've been plexing 3 to 6 accounts with skill trading alone since skill extractors/injectors were added to the game. When I first started it the isk was insane. I was plexing more than one account with only one farmer account. Now I can plex an account with 1 pilot per account but dont make a profit. With 3 pilots on an account I can profit 500m per month. This is -IF- I do things right. +5 implants, max stats in the appropriate places, and buy and sell on the best of buy or sell orders (or the New Eden Store). Consider that each hub may be different. Some will net you more isk than others, some profitable some not. Bottom line is even if I only make enough isk this way to buy 475 plex that is 475 plex less I have to buy at the end of the month to play essentially free.
another little idea i just came up with is that you can use remap, every new character have 3 remaps 1 yearly and 2 bbonus remap, so if its a farming character we can remap the attributes to a specific category making the training fastest by only training the specific category skills, like spaceship command, gunnery which actually have a very big max skill points. which on the top of that also have same attributes.
I feel like you could optimize this even more. You can't extract skill points below 5 Million SP. IIRC, 5 million is about what you need to get a Planetary Industry alt. You can first train the toon into a PI alt, then plug in perception and memory and train nothing but Spaceship Command skills. That way you can do PI and make some extra money, and you also have access to certain ship hulls (although no modules) if you want to swap the skill farm toon into a proper alt that will fly proper ships. The alt must be omega, so you may as well run PI on it and multibox in highsec so you don't get podded. If you just want skill farm, thats fine, just extract the Spaceship command skills. Train up to Marauders V, and extract everything back down. This way, you have some more flexibility.
What you're not mentioning is that to get 5,500,000 SP you need to train almost 3 months if you start from zero (using improved implants only). 500,000 SP takes about 8 days, so in 1 month you can only fill about 3 or 4 large injectors. To get 14 large injectors like in your video, someone would need to train for more than 3.5 months on top of the time needed to get the initial 5,500,000 SP (Max training speed without accelerators is 64,800 SP/day), so more than 6 months training (and paying). Or am I missing something?
You could train up to 5 million as alpha, then inject that million bonus points you get for using a referral link, boosting you above 5.5m Sure, it'll take longer, but it will not cost as much.
First: you haven't used alpha time to skilled up to 5 mln skill points, so you overinvested. Secondly: you are remapping intelligence and memory because you will only use them for farming, so no implants are needed for the rest of the attributes - 450 mln isk lost. Thirdly: farming skill points are currently unprofitable, only to significantly reduce the cost of running another omega account.
I think it is clear that he knows this give his other videos. That being said, your comment, although critical, is beneficial to people thinking of skill farming.
So is the point to dump the skill injectors to your main for beefing up skills or for making passive ISK to convert to plex to get Omega for either main or this account? Just curious what you do with your injectors
Pointless to do that, the more skill point you have the less you get when injecting, I call this fake, he said he remapped to speed training, last shot shows 4 skills at 28 and one at 27, no remap there for max training, it only works out profitable because he used plex to buy injectors, probably from referral perks
Where are you getting the 2000 plex from to buy injectors?? its fake, sit down work out the cost, see how much you need to pull out from your wallet to make it work.
I can't do that to an alt. It's too cruel, to have him/her study up, get knowledgeable, then suck the marrow. "It's a toon! Harden the eff up!", I can hear. It's still cruel.
Save the implant costs past 2, use boosters when available, daily login bonus and there's many other choices i.e. Blueprints, manufacturing, reactions, mining, gate scout, abyss lookout (cloaked and combat ready) use that alt.
Dumb question, how do I add an alt and Eve whenever I go to add account on the launcher? It just brings me in an infinite loop at the Eve website and won't let me add another alt. No clue what's going on. Thanks for the help
I have a question :) I have 3 accounts, not played EVE in a very long time, I dont plan to use at least 1 alt, he has 62M SP is it worth buying Omega, and Extractors to suck my character down to 5.5m sp? and use the remaining omega time with its +5 implants to learn your skills + remap for the rest of the 30days? Im not too lazy to find out Im just not very good at maths :D
I am also confused as to why this process nets any advantage over just buying the skillpoint injectors (full) rather than buying the empty extractors with PLEX, and then taking over two-three months of Omega training time in the form of SP to then sell back on the market for ISK? It seems like either a waste of money or a waste of time. And if you needed more skills faster, then you could just buy the full injectors from the market using ISK or PLEX...right? I don't quite get it either, same as a few other commenters.
it could be profitable only using Alpha skills, maybe you could make an alternative Skill farm map? Looks good but I would not invest an Omega unless I'd really need those skill points for my main as you probably do.
Alpha's are capped at 5 million SP. Theoretically, I suppose you could train up to 5M and then redeem the free 1M SP and make 1 large skill extractor and then that account is done. So, you could make a new account every day and ~5 months later, start extracting 1 large skill injector per day, every day, for free.

Second is the fact that you have to buy the skill extractors with real money. 40 bucks for 10 so 5 mil skill points cost 40 bucks plus training an Omega character to 11 or so mil skill points. I simply train all of my characters with implants and remaps as I train a certain group in waves to take advantage of the remap.
