Police Duty Belt Rundown - Defense Mechanisms Mech Belt

In this video, I discuss how I have my duty belt setup. I go over the gear that I have on it, and the WHY behind where it is all placed on the belt. How is the True North MHA comfortably while riding in a vehicle?

So I think that sorta depends on where it’s mounted on your hip. For me, it’s directly at 3 o clock and I don’t have ANY issues with it jabbing into my thigh. I know some people run their holster a little farther forward which would probably cause it to jab into your leg but I don’t think you could get anything to prevent that if you run it further forward

@@Officercake thank you, I’m waiting to find out if I can get a different duty belt. As of right now we still have to use the traditional style leather belts with the brass hook buckles.

@@HeatOfTheHunt if you can man, I really like this defense mechanisms belt, but there are tons of great options. I think the true north concepts holster adapter is pretty much standard for most people now.

How much do you actually train with your pistol and a carbine with said belt?

I try and go every week if ammo permits. I don’t wear the vest every time but I try and train with the vest atleast once a month.

I do! Just for fun though and to get reps under stress with my duty setup. I am looking to build out a who setup just for competition though.
