Lol - As a kid I also thought they were "airing out laundry" up on the top of the tower until I realized it was the scythe room. The quirky animation is one of the many great things about this game. I like to think they were airing out their laundry AND polishing the scythe at the same time.

Ouch, my brain just started hurting. I was thinking about it and now I'm wondering how Bobbin learned the terror/scare spell to begin with, seeing as he learns it again from his FUTURE self............

I did not know you could try to "Empty" the grave, but you get the same result if try to "Open" it.
And yes, casting "Sleep" on the dragon does work, because she will start breathing fire when she sleeps. However, casting "Terror" also works, since she just told you she's afraid of fire.
Incidentally, in addition to the audio drama, the game also came with a manual, which explained the game mechanics and included a "Book of Patterns" section, which describes all the drafts you will use in the game (and many more that you will never use). The draft that turned all the other Weavers into swans is called "Transcendence"; it dissolves the ties that bind the target to the Pattern of Reality, and is used by the Weavers as a means of banishment for extreme infractions (for example, when Cygna used the Great Loom to create a baby after the Elders forbade it).

Also, you are correct that there is something else you can do with the pool in the cave.

I just looked at the Manual and the Book of Patterns - both very neat and helpful! Seems like it was definitely all created as an overall experience, and I love that.

Is this based on the Norns and the Weave of Fate?

Loving this one still.... I agree with you, the spells backwards thing was never introduced proper in the early game, a bit of a mind boggle that.
No hints for now, you seem to be progressing fine. Still looks like you need to reflect a little bit more on what the different spells actually are, looks like you got a bit stuck on the empty/fill spell thinking it to be some kind of "tip over" push/pull thing.
Reliving my childhood through your walkthroughs now :)

What I find interesting - is that I'm not really kicking myself over the misunderstanding of the spell from the flask (push/pull vs empty/fill). That's kind of the fun of playing through the game, is understanding what exactly the game is trying teach. And learning throughout is what keeps the whole thing intriguing, not everything is spelled out (forgive the pun).

@@psychemode Pun forgiven 😉 Thats part of why I love the old adventure games, they make you think. I was at that age where I learned a lot too as I had to look up many things. Lucasarts was best, but the Sierra games were good too, if somewhat unforgiving.

You have to add "Full throttle" to your playing list, pretty pelase with sugar on top
