Welcome back! Hope you're feeling better! Wow, this one was a big ol' exposition dump! Been a long, long time since I played a game that pulled one of these! Great stuff though!

Hey u nerd =) were u even born when these games came out =P It was a rival to the kings quest series ? (Equally as good) There was only three of them... Excellent music- The main villian of the series clown/jester or whatever malcom turns into a hero in the last one (Oops spoiler =) ) Which one was the best? I dunno the 2nd one was okay you play as the chick- police quest, kings quest, space quest quest for glory all these quest point n click adventure games i remember the adventures of willy beamish was pretty cool the blonde nurse at the start aroused me as a kid =) quest for glory 4 shadows of darkness was really good i had a crush on the villian chick in that game and the resulka pitty the game was filled with so many bugs- kings quest 5 and 6 hold a special place in my heart- prince of persia 2 on pc was also an extreme addiction/obssession i remember =) ...

Yeah that basement segment is annoying sometimes. Even on stealth playthoughs I tend to fling that TNT around like Donkey Kong. One of the fun storyplaying through mechanics here is that combat in the game is gonna suddenly be much much harder now you're fighting against the state with it's heavily armed troops and military grade mechs rather than the plucky rebels. Those rockets and emp grenades will come in handy. What I do is use the prod charger on the trusting soldiers on the roof. Saves me having to kill the poor sods. Bit cheesy but effective.

That's actually a different warehouse from the one you stormed from the roofs previously. When I played this as a kid I also mixed them up in my memory, but they are different, albeit similar, buildings.

you run around like a crazy lunatic without looking at what your doing, you miss things right in front of you

Don't forget about the medical bot and repair bot! They can fill you up if you take too much damage (or use too much energy with your new fancy ballistic protection aug)!

Tip: for moving around objects carefully, crouch before setting them down. This guarantees that you won't accidentally blow up a TNT crate when setting it down (unless you throw it off a ledge). This crouch technique is also silent, so it avoids alerting nearby enemies when you're trying to move stuff around

So funny to see you struggling with the ladders in this game. They're by far the worst-designed ladders I've ever seen in a game! They're not "sticky" so you just fall off them if you get too far away. Plus when you're on a ladder the game doesn't disable your horizontal movement, so it's very easy to walk away from the ladder into mid-air and then fall like Wile-E-Coyote! The trick to using the ladder safely is to hug the darn thing for dear life and look towards the wall, not away from it, while looking down and going slow. Going up the ladder is much the same but you're looking up and facing the wall so it tends to be easier!

Loving this so much! The rabbit hole goes deeper and deeper! The designers of this game really knew how to create a sense of wonder. Such a rare treasure!

Elaine and Guybrush's interaction in the Lime Grove was really cute. Even tho they're not as schmoozy as the older games, theyre just chatting and bouncing ideas off each other. Theyre an old married couple now and it's sweet

If you want Lebedev to survive, you might need to do something about Anna shooting him. :) There was definitely a "choice" there beyond "go to helipad and shoot him yourself".

Nice! Love the use of the muscle and leg augs to jump around and climb in through the window! That was great! Yeah, if you had gone back to search all those security towers after meeting Lebedev they would've had their turrets already deactivated so you could loot them all for free! Also there is a way to save Lebedev's life but I won't say anything more than that! That's for a future playthrough

That slapstick routine with the Augment canister safe was bloody hilarious. That is a good mission, one of my faves for sure. Im glad you discovered so much and explored and used those Shortcuts. There was a bunch more hidden loot in the lorry and under the dock plus a secret tunnel. But nothing major in there. Finally I think maybe with a higher comp skill you can control the little robots from the security towers.

The terrorist leader of the first mission also had lots of interesting stuff to stay, but the difference was that there wasn't anyone preventing you to talk to him. In case of Lebedev is that your fellow agent doesn't want you to talk to him. If you want to to hear everything Lebedev has to say you must do something about it, otherwise Anna will kill him. This is where this game differs from many others: it gives you choices but not in form of dialogue options or similar obvious crossroads, but instead more subtly, in similar fashion as choices happen in real life. This was the point where Deus Ex totally blew my mind in 2002 when I played it for the first time.

Giving the cop a beverage is a nice thing to do, but being nice isn't getting you what you want. Is there a way to combine Nice with Not-Nice in a way that wouldn't be immediately obvious?

Slowly goin thru your kyrandia plays. I think the 2nd game is my favorite one. BTW I see you like 90's style DOS games like this. Probably one of the best point and click adventure games is "The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Serrated Scalpel". Sadly it's not on steam so I don't know where you can pick it up. It's very much like that Indiana Jones point and click game. Also there's actually a FREE game on steam called "Heroine's Quest" which took inspiration from Kyrandia AND Quest for Glory. I think you would really like both of these games. Tossed you a sub btw, I see you are close to 2k. Good luck.

The flipper is an awful person and I adore him. Shame about Minelli, April poisons him, steals his eye, and gets him in trouble with his boss. I hope the poor guy gets a happy ending.

Your play style is kinda like "what if Rambo really wanted to be James Bond." Love it Btw the Baton does way more damage when you whack em in the noggin. Just gotta stun em then pop up like a meerkat and Bonk! Trust me it's a move that pays off again and again. Also I'm pretty sure you used a rocket launcher to blow up a door you already had the key for lol.

Officer Guybrush sounds like a reference to the Monkey Island series!
