I don’t have a great relationship with my father and I honestly watch this mainly because of the warmth I feel from the closeness you all share with him. Such a great man and amazing children
Bro watching your dad cook is so therapeutic. Love how he explains some ingredients when someone may not know what it is. And how he explains how ingredients enhances or adds to the flavor on whatever he’s making
My father is a very good amateur chef. He attempts some very complicated dishes sometimes. I would never have the patience to try anything this guy makes l.
I randomnly found this channel about 15 minutes ago and I don't regret it. Your father is great. As it seems, you guys have a great relationship together. Something I never had with my father. He probably doesn't even know if I am alive or not. Keep your family close. Some of us don't have one and wish we did. Don't take it for advantage. Cherish the time you guys have left with eachother. I've subscribed and can't wait to see your future uploads. Great stuff man. 👏
You've probably found it by now, but this channel is relatively new and solely dedicated to the cooking. The son/vlogger, jetbentlee, has another channel where this concept was born from, so if you're looking for more content like this, check that one out too! There's a lot more personal stuff to dig through, but the cooking with dad vids are all great like this.
Hi Iron Chef dad. My husband and I watched Iron Chef all the time. I remember you on the show. Love your channel, your talent and the best is your smile and sense of humour. Your son is great too with the same beautiful smile. Yum looks fantastic
"Rinse, rinse, rinse", "mix, mix, mix". When chef Susur repeats his verbs three times, you know he's about to do some food magic. Impressive as always.
Chef's knowledge really comes through beautifully when he is cooking and sharing. I could watch him cook and learn at the same time for hours. Please keep the content coming!
Mr. Lee must be the most sympathetic and nice famous chef there is, I love all your videos guys is like watching a friend do something cool. Keep it up, all the best for 2024!
Y'all are the best! Your dad is hilarious haha. Have him make a Native American dish. I think he would be the FIRST person to make a gourmet Native American dish, that would be so awesome!
I love the warm family teasing at the end, where he stumbles, and gets corrected, and just...his laughter, it's SO genuine. this was a good video. [don't submit to the short side!]
What a find, I stumbled over the shorts and got sucked in. Just needed to find if this guy and his dad were making anything longer. Brilliant content! Thanks.
It's okay to filet your fish out and take em back home all vacuum sealed but save a few great ones for raw, etc. They really need to be cleaned and just kept on ice or cold a couple days before breaking down. They get so much better for sushi, ceviche, cooking, period. Let them sit a few days then filet them out. Dynamite.
I dig a restaurant has more value having you're pops there. I just want to share,as most of us do the love we have for one of the greatest chefs and you my guy. You've pulled this all together and nothing I miss and appreciate more than a father and his son working together. Thank you bruv
Oh My God! I was in hysterics at the beginning & the end! When Chef Lee got down to bidness, I was quiet, took lots of notes, and gave him plenty of applause. Crazy talented!
I would love to have this kind of relationship with my dad. Been 4 or 5 years since i last saw my old man. Cherish what you have with him. Love the vids!!!
3rd video I've watched in 20 minutes or so. Definitely got a new subscriber. This guy's vibe is lit and the relationship him and his son have great. I miss my dad
Love how he adds plenty of ingredients that actually play off of each other well, its harder to make a great dish with a ton of ingredients than with few and still have it balanced. Impressed as always!
1:33 that mystery fish is a bar Jack. They are very delicious and they also are identifiable by the light blue and black stripe running down their backs. They are very fairly common throughout the southwest Atlantic Ocean.
I miss my father so much, when I was back home in the Islands he would go Fishing and cook right in front of us and also the way he fillet a big giant yellow fin Tuna almost the same height as him. 😅 love love love. Thank you for sharing.
It’s crazy because people wouldn’t normally eat Bonita in the states it’s mainly used for bait due to its high blood content but of course the master chef made it edible 🙌🏽🔥

Bro your dad is the glue that keeps the family intact. Makes me want to master cooking, that keeps the family together. I’ll just find a wife that likes to cook and I’ll continue with business haha. Love your channel and you guys 👌. I gotta visit the restaurant one day.

I hope you truly appreciate what your father is offering you and not just the likes. Listen to every word, dine on it, savor it, because nothing will ever taste so sweet, or nourish you so much.
That's a splendid dish, it's got my mouth watering.. "no waste" .??? lots wasted, especially that herbal coconut concoction with all those flavours. I really enjoyed this. Namaste

Last time we went our fish was soo big that they cook five different meals.. Fish Mexican soup is the best!!!🌶🍋
Growing up in a hunting/fishing household, even though much of the fish my dad made was a hit or miss with me (either the taste or texture) I ALWAYS enjoyed playing with the eyeballs when he was getting them ready. So to see Iron Chef Dad just go 'look at the eyeballs' and poke it was very nostalgic and funny to me, gave me a good laugh.

I think cause the fish was rather small, the center wasn't as prevalent which is the bloodiest part of the fish. He paired good flavor to the fish.
