Just want to give a shout out to you. My MS250 which is about twenty years old was doing the same thing as yours, bogging down whenever you tried to give it throttle. I bought a new carburetor for it, installed it, and the problem was solved. Thank you very much for the help. I really appreciate it!
@Indeewoods all I have done is a basic muffler mod but I was impressed it pulls an 18" bar (even if it is 3/8s P chain) pretty darn well. I don't expect any 2150 to be a race winner but I do find them simple to repair and pretty reliable.
Great video man.. Sounds like you got it set right- I can hear it 4 stroking at high rpm's then smoothing out into a 2 stroke in the cut. That's how I tune all of mine. Thx for the tips!!
My name is Ian Grant I live in Jamaica first time watching your video I have the same problem with my ms250 was just want to clarify something with you I use Chinese Parts on my chainsaw carburetors on clutch drum not all Chinese parts are bad yes I'm very good Chinese parts I know farmertec make some good Chinese parts there are some Chinese parts totally drunk you just have to come here to get the right Quality Parts online because I buy carburetors from China clutch drum I get good service out of them when buying Chinese parts always check always check comparison on the views before buying

@bruceludwick8200 right on did you buy the carb right from Stihl or aftermarket?
I bought a Stihl carburetor from the stihl dealer.
@bruceludwick8200 ok It should last a long time. Hey what fuel were using in it? Just regular or higher octane? Any ethanol in it?
Used regular for years. Non-ethanol became available a few years ago and I always use it now.
@bruceludwick8200 right on ya I’m pretty sure that 10% ethanol in the fuel was what took out my carb check valve.
The more I see of the MS250, the more I smile. I haven't got one but would be curious to see how my 42cc Poulan 2150 would stack up against one!
@@turtlewolfpack6061 the MS250 would destroy your 2150 but if you do some mods to the Poulan it might be a closer race.

Am I missing something? Isn’t it recommend to replace the diaphragm?
Do you remember how much that OEM carb set you back? Thanks
