Yeah, I must admit it was a great catch 😁 Luckily it came twice. First time I was working at the tower, so I wasn't able to do anything, but second time was the good one 😎
Nice! A friend of mine had a 369HE, those cockpit step position lights might have been a rare setup with the low skids from the 70's production..🤔 O H-6A had these port/starboard position lights on stubs behind cargo compartment doors, later I've seen them relocated to lower front door frame area, then onto tips of skids..which pilots seem to prefer.. Nice bird, either HS or HE (standard or executive) model, civilian version..has civilian rear roof windows.
Haha, the helicopter can fly MUCH FASTER..NEARLY UP TO 200MPH.. *BUT- IF YOU HIT A BIRD AT THAT SPEED...WILL GO RIGHT THROUGH.. 😮right through bubble, you, frame, engine.. would be "BAD"
Great catch looking good for 50 👍👏😍
Thanks Ian. Yes, it looks great 😎
would have been a nice paint scheme if a 3 year old hadn't designed it!! Love the 369's!!

Pretty old bird. The H500 family is a very iconic helicopter. You may have seen it in Magnum PI television series.
I’ve seen that helicopter when I was watching the Italian job from 2003 and I realised that this was the aircraft involved in the film
Awesome 👍
