I've jus spent a few days doing 68's on York -Scarvboroigh and both DRS liveried 68033 and 034 were working as well as 019, 026 and 028 in the official TPE fleet.
absolutely love the '68 at end of video. can't beat a bit of pure traction pulling a train from the front. we used to get '68,s on trans pennine from Liverpool to scarborough but they seem to have dissapeared now with just DMU or EMU not that they aren't good looking ,but as i said..traction..68....now you are talking!
Great sound of the class 68 there mate I would recommend doing the trip from Brum to Marlybone if you haven't already well worth it for a decent run behind the purring Cat
Oh! 66720 is now in Wascosa livery. You said that you hadn't seen the rainbow liveried 66 in a long time and I think that was probably your last chance to see it as well, so well done on catching it sir! Congratulations!
If I count this video I've seen 4 class 68s in 3 days Brutus, splendid and one I didn't get the name of on Friday at York and avenger in this video unfortunately I didn't get to ride one while in York because they don't run from Manchester to York but great to see and hear
Hi, that was a geat selection - and useful confirmation of stock/service. Good to see freight getting a run bearing in mind how often they get held back for late or lightly loaded passenger trains - the cost of fuel per re-start must eat into any profit. As someone else has commented, no OHL is a bonus but won't be long before Oxford views are hindered by steel and wires.
Hi Tornado922. Another great rush hour film at Oxford. 12:57-13:11 was absolutely hilarious when you gave a brilliant description of what a train does for a living. 😆 Nice 1-tone from 66545 at 37:31 but it was nicely finished off with a great 1-tone from the amazing 68008 at 48:08. You can't beat the 68s! Looking forward to next rush hour film. Kind regards, Chris.
Love the stations without the lines. So many great sounds!!😎🥰😁 Btw I agree and also have moments when I can't form words or sentences. You're not alone! 😂😂
Nice video great camera work as usual as always keep it up i am really looking forward to seeing your next video also when is your next video going to see on TH-cam bye for now Philip
The variety there must have been excellent, the 66's, 70's and the DRS 68 included, hence Tornado having been a happy man! That was more than a few refrigerated containers on the last container train hauled by the 66! I guess there were probably fresh and frozen foods inside them! Considering this may have been a ship that took the containers in first, maybe it might have been fish inside there! If you ever wanted to know what was inside the refrigerated containers, just ask Maersk in this case! 😂
fantastic video J you happy man but im with you on that the 68s sound just great . Its another brill video my friend not too much waffle on this one but still wonderful , keep em coming J i really enjoyed it ,take care matey. A T B Syd :)
Great video, love your enthusiasm! By the way, could you tell me how you enter the platform? Do you just tap your credit/debit card to enter, and if so how much is it? I used to love spending time on the platform in my teens when you could just wander onto it!
Is that the train that stops at Combe aka the finstock flyer? (The 17.42 service) as they cut the service from Great Malvern to only Moreton in marsh for some reason

For those wondering, 66125 recently got repainted into DB red.

I have been meaning to get a journey done on that line. I will be sure to go on one at some stage

I think the last time I caught that 66 was when I was last in Clapham Junction

I'm certainly never going to complain about getting a 68 in one of my films that's for sure. They are always great to see and hear

You’d be able to see the jubilee 66 as it is doing the Saturday steel service at the moment
I don't come here on weekends so I had would have to be elsewhere on the network in order to catch it
I was at Chesterfield and saw 66720 and 786 but I was talking to a tamper driver and couldn't get a video of it
Ah right ok
