    The forces on your hip + internal rotation which isnt a very natural movement is probably why goalies end up with hip issues. Brodeur played forever and had a narrow butterfly. Maybe it's related

      Kinda thinking the same thing. He played semi old school up till the end. I watched a 2014 game where he was putting both pads together on the post for bad angle shots. I also do this lol. I can flair one side or the other alright, but when I ask for both? Its narrow. I use my knee breaks to close my five hole.
