Mate! Great video. JUST did this on my D2 TD5. Worked a treat. No problems! Also replaced the serpentine belt and tensioner while I was in there. Cheers!
It's great to see the off roading video's. But it's even better to watch the workshop video's. A good generous mix of off roading/workshop/camping and beers around the campfire video's are the way forward.👍👍👍👌👌👌👌.

Easy way to lign up the pulley holes is with a short stud, a lesson l learned on 300tdi pumps.

Good video. My fan rusted on and eventually had to be cut off with a die grinder, the threads a mess. Not sure how I'll go trying to pull it out with mashed threads on the shaft.

Just got a td5. New to them ... noticed my fan is missing completely. Why would they have taken it of ? What are the symptoms of the bearing going mate? . Big fan as well amazing work keep it up 😉
It becomes noisy and can have play in it 👌🏻 as for taking the fan of… not a clue 😳
Hello sir, how much torque is required to tighten the fan shaft pulley? I mean the fan shaft pulley that is opened and tightened using a 12 mm hex socket.
Best checking the landrover rave manual as all torques are listed there 💪🏻🙌🏻

This is a great video, the ONLY one I can find describing the technique. I couldn't give a toss about laning videos in old blighty, I'm an Aussie, but I'm subscribing specifically for THIS video.

There will always be a mixture of laning/camping videos along with workshop and other videos
We can’t physically produce a laning video every week, we all work full time along side doing this.
Sadly that means sometimes we’ll put out workshop videos or other videos that are not on the lanes.
Hope you understand☺️ we do try to alternate the type of videos we’re putting out
