These recent endgame puzzles are surprisingly tricky and require precise moves to win, that can only be identified after thorough analysis of many tempting alternatives. Wonderful exposition. 👍
If the attacker can reach a key square (in this case f4,g4,h4) the endgame is winning…
You just have to see that black black can‘t defend the pawn
You go straight not zigzag and he's closer it just looks diagonal
Very instructive, thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Instructiv yes, but not the whole chess study. And so far as I know it is only a part of a study and also mirrored. Also it is not mentioned the composer.
No, sir. This is too easy. Very often you find this position on TH-cam!!
Mate, you really need to learn to get to the point without the waffle.
I think he loves the sound of his voice!😂😊
3:38 white is actually winning because of g4, that forces the black king to stop protecting the pawn.
En passant
@Kwaiiii which actually forces a draw and not a loss, so better to let it draw imo.
@@JustAnotherTuber82 the question here is if its a win for white, if black doesnt take white just wins the pawn and promotes, okay black can have an opposition so a draw, but in any way g4 doesnt win for white
White king opposition
Endgame Manual
Yes, it is an amazing book to study endgame positions :) - Dvoretsky's Endgame Manual
why does g2 to g4 not considered a enpassant
It's only en passant if Black pawn is on f4 or h4.
Anpassan
Should be a draw.
This endgame is a win for white.

Cool, thanks. You ought to say this in the descriptions.
Thanks for the feedback. I will credit positions if it is from a composer next time :)
