Ferris makes plus 3mm intake valves and plus 2mm exhaust valves know how they perform. I already got a 5mm stroker crank installed with a 105.5mm piston, I went with 11:1 compression piston.
I'm pushing the limits of pump gas on my raptor 770cc I kept compression at 11:1 but went big on intake and exhaust valves. It's at DR Motors in thief river falls mn getting freshen up. Dennis the owner use to be big into racing mini Sprints when he was younger and custom building his expansion chamber, he got a lot of hp out of 600cc in a 2 stroke. We shall see soon how my raptor 770cc turns out.

My 09 had DMC twins, hot cam, intake, and installed a tune. Didn't have it on the dyno myself but it ran incredible. I was racing a guy with a high compression piston yfz450. We were at this sand pit and I was running stock tires. He had paddles and I was waxing his ass. Guy was asking what I had done and was shocked. I have a stock 2020 yfz450r. Debating if I should go back to the 700. I miss reverse. lol

I think up to 900cc. I remember they had 734cc and 815cc is what I remember and the site showing a Yamaha 700 Raptor R with 180 hp and a Yamaha 700 Raptor R with 200 and something hp. I thought I would show you this company Bundy Built Racing. I know the owner who has a long history in racing with all the factory racing teams and 1. being Pro Circuit Racing. He was the shop manager there. Then went on to Joe Gibbs Racing and Joe Gibbs son has passed on who ran the shop and now Bundy the owner owns it. They also build Drag bikes and drag quad engines dirt bike engines etc. They also have a midget sprint car engine that his son races that have a Honda K20 engine with over 400 hp. They bought it at a junkyard for $500.00. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. Some people think some places they go to are too expensive and they think with their wallet and have problems down the road. These guys are not afraid of going MUCH deeper with the Bore size on your engine. I know the owner, Bundy. This guy makes things go fast. When he would move to another company everyone wanted him because he is the best and knows how to build an engine the right way. They ship all over the world. I thought you would enjoy seeing his company. They have other great mechanics too. Somewhere there are videos about the owner and one of his this shop and about the owner how he got started building engines. So I have seen on TH-cam quads that have 500-600 hp on a drag quad. John not what I’ve experienced actually racing them. You are right though that you can go faster for less money on a banshee, your comparison points are just a little off from what I’ve experienced.
@@OGKILLa9365 that's where you're very wrong. Overlay a 90hp raptor with a 100hp banshee and you'll see how much broader and sustainable the 4 stroke power is. If you just take peak numbers it's not an accurate representation of how much useable power without an overlay from a dyno

Please do a ss/sb build video next, something with 70-80hp!!!!! Not all of us want to go big because of our riding terrain.

they stay together pretty well is used properly and not abused. this is pushed fairly well for the cc size. 75 and below hp is very very solid/
