- Luke and I travel out to a remote beach near Innisfail called Ella Bay to try out the new Reflector Oven. We try and cook up some Porterhouse Steaks for lunch. What a stunning day down on the beach.
So good Buck and Lukey. Great clip to watch ! Great work on the flint Luke
Great video. Love seeing Luke Reed having a great time up there, it is lonely now in Tassie but my broadband speed doubled now that he isn't using his. Safe travels and see you guys soon. WE GOT FIRE BABY
Great clip Buck and Luke, what a great looking beach .You are very lucky to have it nearby to use. Keep em coming !👍👍🍻🍻
Awesome clip Buck!
Im with Luke, Scones in the reflector oven. ❤🙂👍
Lukey had good idea some scones😊
Beautiful spot, great cook up ❤
Beautiful beach
Hey Buck, I like how your not afraid to have a go and experiment with different equipment. That Kelly kettle performed really well. Great idea.
Great clip Guys, I enjoy watching the cook up’s sounds like you both had a great time making it.
I just can’t get over how few people there are on the beach on a beautiful FNQ day.
Good video. What a beautiful day . Thanks for the effort
Good cook up mate! Well done fellas!
Another ripper I must try that rub !! And agree with one comment that snags would go well with
Good video buck love your cook up
To this day I still remember the 6 P's and the other... K.I.S.S. Great spot to spend the day👍👍👍
What cracking spot, Buck n Lukey. Thought I saw a snapping log in one of those shots. Well done.
Nicely done Buck and Lukey for getting the fire going.
I always coat my balls in Vaseline, the next time I start a fire I will try Citronella.
I know the oven was small, but for backpacking on foot into and out of a solo camp it’s probably a good size to fit into a rucksack.
I’m thinking it would be good for sausages, bacon, pies, burgers, chicken etc.
Got a good baking tray today Steve so more coming.
Good cook up Buck
Half a dozen snags should fit
Living in paradise 👍
That worked well Buck, steaks looked good, lovely spot . Lukey must be loving the weather it’s been hellish here has not stopped raining and it’s raining all next week too (Cranbourne Vic) Tassies to get snow so he’s not missing anything, thanx for sharing Enjoy ur break Lukey 👍
You did just fine in my book. Those steak sandwiches looked really tasty. You can cook anything in a reflector oven you would in a regular oven. For a reflector oven to work properly you have to use a good size fire and keep it up. Great job getting fire going with a flint and steel Luke.👍
I think some little pork chops. You reminded me to put in my Gidgee order in . Thanks lads great video.
Lovely Ep and cook up guys. Gee buck you got some different types of gear to cook on.
I'm pleasantly surprised... How about some big spuds wrapped in foil ..simple but it would be good to see how they come out how long they take to cook. Add your cheese & other bits and pieces (bacon) etc.
Fantastic day out on the water. Thanks Lukey and Buck for sharing it with us.👍
Your. Got me thinking to make one Buck
Yeah have a crack mate.
Sausages would go well in that oven
Hi Buck, Rafa and Lukey. Did I miss how long the steaks actually took to cook? Great fun. ♨️🥩🥩❤️🐕❤️❤️🇦🇺🦘
👍👍you might have to trade the BT50 in for a B double to fit all the cooking gear in 😂😂. Try a pan sized fish,I reckon it would work a treat. 👁️👁️😎😇❤️🙏🇦🇺
Mate thanks for the idea. I will try a fish in it for Ros.
28:10 Rectangular cake tin
Does it help to position the oven in the direction of the wind
@@gypsyjoker30 Absolutely mate but if it is swirling you got problems.
Heaps of reflector oven videos on TH-cam
Try some boerewors.
Roger that
make some Lukie scons buck
