Same here with the lights. I hit the ceiling while driving and it went out. Not alway achievable though.
It sounds like this is a common problem.
To turn the light off you need to do this and it will work every time. Press light button release then press and hold for few seconds. 100% work every time.
No. It doesn’t. And why did it come on when the vehicle goes over a bump? Is that a feature also?
The tiny mirror falling out was the last straw. ... I did everything with that mirror.
I have no idea about the drivers side mirror, because I’ll never use it. But my wife does.
Once I got 2.0 my rear passenger light stopped coming on intermittently. Each car seems to have its own personality.

Mine did since I got the car with the old software. I think bumps set it off and not the software.
It’s a hardware issue. This was confirmed by a technician. I have a light “on order” and have since march 1st. I’ll never get the light, of course.
@@Aslash304 so disappointed in how much they cut corners and lied. Lesson learned, but costly mistake getting the one and all the promised Ocean One computer updates, tires, extended warranties etc.. I’d love to believe I’d get all that but it’s seeming more and more like we were scammed. I will wait for the final call, but not expecting much.
Thanks Adam. Good video. You explained the charging very well. I am sorry you are having so many issues with your Ocean, but join the gang. My wife is done with our Ocean and we have contacted an attorney and we are sending a letter asking for a refund due to health and safety issues, seeing that it stalled (lost power and coasted) on freeway twice. I will let you know what happens.

What’s the point ? Tesla chargers are mostly open to everyone in Europe and will become open to everyone in the US soon(ish).
I have a Model Y long range. It’s true. There’s just not any problems, and the charging is so much faster.
I understand that you are frustrated with the whole situation (I am too with the company), but I have been fairly happy with the car itself (Extreme). So, let's just hope for the best and we can get support on service.
Insane amount of time to wasted on charging, mirror fan being loud and not turning off, rear light staying on, on top of the 10+ issues discussed about the car in other videos.
Why are you happy with the car ?
I think every owner experience is different with this car, the software is incomplete. Some people aren’t having as many problems.

Wow... A lot of charging and stress. I forget if you're on 2.0 or not (just got mine yesterday from the tech). It's a sad state for Oceans if you're experiencing those issues with 2.0. good state for Ken Ganley Kia for being human and not dissing you for driving a non Kia. That EV9 is good looking. Hey Adam. Hi Connie! Nice video. Yeah, the rear light in my FOE comes on randomly. I've slid my finger forward (toward the mirror) over the overhead console light control, and it usually works. I'll be getting ready for a road trip from the "Philly" area to Montreal in a couple of weeks. I'm using alternative GPS systems because Tom-Tom plan (excuse my vernacular) sucks as we discussed in our comparison video. The alternate system says 2 charges (15 and 30 min) to go 438mi. I might try to stretch it as other bail-out stations are along the route. I'll let you know how I do.

It’s hardware. A tech confirmed this with me, and even ordered a new light.

Red-e charger in Elkins might be an option, I use one between Detroit and Toledo ocasionally. pretty easy to activate.

I can hear the frustration / disdain in your voice, that you have for this vehicle. Sucks because this vehicle had a lot of promise, it just didn't deliver.

The disdain comes from the fact that I own a Model Y Long range. I know how easy it’s supposed to be.

Plus, the lack of support for Fisker doesn't help much either.
Wow the charging stations other than tesla really stink overall. I can’t wait until we have access to them. EA is always almost always an issue. Once tesla opens up I bet people will want to avoid EA. I know I will try.

@@Aslash304 a tech tried to reset the overhead console at the headquarters earthday meetup. That did not work. Hoping it’s a future software fix rather then a hardware issue
I removed the fan housing and disconnected the power to the fan but of course that gives the ADAS warning, so I plugged it back in but debating if I should remove it since theres no ADAS anyway.. some ppl reported unplugging and plugging stopped the fan going off full speed but for me it started right back up when I plugged it back in. Tech I spoke to said 3.0 should fix it but who knows if 3.0 is coming😅

according to that press release from Jan we should be getting 5.0 soon in May... some people still dont even have 2.0. What a shame.

Nearly 39 minutes to charge on the first charge and 1 HOUR 40 MINUTES on the second charge????? No wonder nobody buys EV's.
Lots of time. But remember, the total cost was absolutely Zero dollars. And no, the dealers aren’t paying for it either, it’s a tax credit and a write off. Finally, An hour and 40 was the total up to that point. My state has poor infrastructure, and gives me no choice. TBH... doesn't seem nearly as convenient as an ICE or hybrid... Losing range because of open road cruising is ridiculous.
Tesla road charging is far, far easier than all the nonsense he experienced.
Convenience costs. An ICE equivalent is 5x more expensive to drive (fuel cost only), a hybrid is 2.5 to 3 times more expensive. Convenience costs extra.

No way would I ever try to take that vehicle on a long drive only meant to be local back-and-forth to the grocery store movie theater or work close by that’s about all it’s good for another five or 10 years to do improvements to make it worthwhile vehicle

At the beginning you mentioned your key fob battery and message displayed. The Blue "battery low charge now" comes from the high-voltage battery/chassis management module not responding quick enough. I have experienced that message multiple times, but far fewer since Fisker replaced my original 12-volt battery. Only a few days ago I had parked my car for 45 minutes and when I returned it showed the battery low message along with 0% charge and 0 miles. I knew that the high-voltage battery was at 70% or more, so knew it was a module error again. A software reset from the steering wheel DID NOT resolve the problem. I had to exit, lock, and then unlock the car and try again the brake pedal to wake-up and be able to shift gear and eventually leave. I have this all on video.
Lastly, I also have a rear passenger map light that still (even with ver. 2.0) goes on and off by itself.

Good video Adam. Thanks. I considered ordering a Fisker a few years ago. The Fisker looks nice but very glad I bought a Model Y. No problems ever so far. Charging is plug and play and 100% reliable. With the new supervised FSD v12.3.4 the car even drives to the Supercharger by itself.
Fisker fans will tell you how beautiful the car is. Model Y owners will tell you how solid the vehicle operates. Just shaking my head on all that charging nonsense Adam endured.
I have both. 2021 Model Y Long Range and Fisker Ocean Sport. It’s like Ken Griffey Jr. vs. A Minor Leaguer.
What was the total time invested in charging up the vehicle? I saw you got some for free others cost $31 so not sure total cost but interested in total time invested.
Charging time was just over 4 hours. And about $70 total.
Does the Fisker Ocean need special Ja kck points and if so, where do we get them?
No. The lift points are in a specific place, but do not require special tools or pads. Google “Fisker ocean owners manual.” Then, within the manual, search for “lifting the vehicle.”

FSRN is listed on the Over-The-Counter Exchange in the U.S. I would expect it will eventually be revealed that Fisker is a look-behind special purpose shell company that is Tata Motors’ entry into the U.S. auto manufacturing business. Tata Motors owns Land Rover in the UK, and has recently signed a deal to construct a £9B battery gigafactory.

It's videos like this that make me so happy I decided to cancel the ocean reservation and buy the Tesla MYP instead. I can't imagine doing road trips without superchargers.
I have had a MYLR for 3 years, and it just makes this experience feel worse

No offense, but this video just confirms my decision to NEVER buy an EV.
The broken light and the fan staying on are poor company problems, not EV problems. The multiple charges is the lack of infrastructure, especially in West Virginia ( I made a video about this). But if you’re happy paying 5x the cost of fuel for the convenience of it, then I totally understand. Convenience has always added cost.
If he had a Tesla he wouldn't have these kind of problems or slow charging so don't let one Fisker steer you away from EVs. I don't have anything against Fisker, from what I hear they're supposedly nice EVs, they just have too many problems and now they're going bankrupt.
