This exhaust system is definitely on my wish list. I think Acura did a good job with the exhaust on the TLX Type S but, I find myself wanting a little more sound at times…
Sounds really good & had this come out at the time functionwerk did I may have gone with this one but at the time functionwerk was the only one out & I wanted it right then.
@@lafaders It's deep & aggressive plus I have IMR high Flow cats paired with it & cars pull up on me that's how loud it is but I don't race, now IMR has resonators only & no mufflers so that's an even more of a different sound you can hear that one on their website or on TH-cam

The comfort mode is with the valve closed at low idle. At 11:7 you can heart it with the low idle and valve open. The, valve closed makes it even quieter. The open/closed high/low idle change is still very obvious!

We designed it just for that purpose! It's notably more aggressive but everyday livable.

How does this sound compare to the functionwerk you have? Tryna decide between altp, functionwerk or imr.

Is it still quiet in comfort mode ? The thing I like about the type s is I can be loud whenever I want with the stock exhaust 😂

Do you have a oem or aftermarket downpipe?
This car has an oem cat (what some call the primary downpipe) and the ATLP A-pipe (or second cat delete, or what people call the secondary downpipe).
How much louder is it compared to stock?
It is definitely noticeably louder but I would not call it "loud" or obnoxious at all.

What it work with a TLX a spec
We recently did find that these systems do fit the A-Spec. But because they don't have resonators they are a bit loud.
