Hypothermia is basically a pusher bot and should not have been allowed to compete. Glad the rules clearly say you need a weapon capable of causing damage but sometimes one of these robots incapable of doing anything but pushing sneak through.
The rules don't state you need a weapon that's capable of dealing damage, they state you must have a weapon of some kind that can affect the operation of another bot (Lifter, Spinner, Flipper, ect) Battlebots Design Rules, Section 1, C: "Whether it’s a flipper, pounder, grabber or whatever, your bot must have at least one independently powered weapon that can seriously affect the operation of another bot."
