Things Didn't Go As Planned | Day 2 of Christmas Pickles

I feel like the whole theme of this video could be summarized as things didn't go as planned, but everything still worked out! This video was supposed to be day 2 of Christmas pickles and pepper jelly. I ended up having to add an extra day to my pickles and I couldn't make the pepper jelly because I had so many peppers that I didn't have enough sugar or pectin. Thank goodness, all is still well, the pickles are still firm, and the peppers can wait until tomorrow.

Thank you for todays sending! In Denmark we also pickle cucumbers like your peeled ones to day! We use water, vinaigrette, sugar, salt and pepper! I loved them, specially in the Christmas. Have a nice day, love from Britta in Denmark ❤️

I'm so jealous of all your beautiful peppers!! I planted 99 peppers and not getting very many. The ones that are producing the most are my sweet bananas and corbaci. I wanted a ton of peppers this year! I guess maybe it'll be better next year. It's hard not to be totally bummed though.

I would think so too, but they aren't at all. It's because of the lime solution and the alum.
