To be honest: The IPhone footage was freaking amazing! Jumps, Drops and especially the speed looked way more realistic than on a GoPro where everything suffers under the GoPro-effect (everything looks smaller etc.) I'm really impressed
The $5 action camera has that vintage camcorder look and personally, i think its worth the price tag and i could think of a few things to use it for, like flash back scenes in movies. You get a phone holder head strap now. Or a car phone holder modified into your tube rubber. Lot of better options.
This comment is so perfect 👌😂
Put a fisheye lens on it, and just mess a bit with some filter's?
yimmiechar I was thinking a cheap phone lens could be placed on and it should pull the POV well in
it's already a fisheye lens, but it's limited by very small sensor (probably 1\3 or smaller) and software, so there is no things to do. It must be recycled to something way better..
The footage looks like every camera used in a UFO sighting.
The phone stability and adio impressed me
I thought the phone was going to be the bouncy house hell while recording but guess not
that was quite impressive for sure
Nice vid
That sports camera makes me feel that I am in 90’s
"Almost drops like a feather " drops like a rock
"Thats for you to pee on." "Aight sick."
The colors weren't very good but it worked preety good otherwise. I do have an old Iphone so maybe that is the way to go for filming stuff Thanks for the video
So, perfect for my ufo recordings.
i actually laughed so hard when I saw the quality of the $4 camera
This looks like something from the early 2000S when Seth was bmxing
Straight up same as Enthused, I loved it. reminded me of old skate and CKY videos.
The memory card is actually more expensive than the action cam
The accessories that come with it are worth using with real GoPro too. Super saver.
Kketansa Art that’s the first thing I thought of to..tbh it’s almost impossible to say it’s not worth the money especially if u think hard enough
7 year olds recording with their Samsung Tablets:
LOL
My penis is unbelievably small, but yeah
Carlos Ambriz ok......
Finally, expensive 1990's technology has finally trickled down to a pocket money price point! took long enough.
The $5 cam looks like it’s recording something from 1988
SETH! You missed the point of the sports cam! It’s an infinite 80’s filter.......lolllllll😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Right? It's all about the stylistic choice...
When I saw the $5 camera in action I thought I was looking at an America's funniest home videos clip from the 90's.
I ordered that same camera off wish a few year ago before I got a gopro. It didn't come for like 4 months so I cancelled the order. It ended up coming anyway. So I got it for free😂
Lol
Jacob Thompson-S it was so bad tho
Barely a win hahaha
Try using this camera for the GoPro trade up and you could get a bunch of store credit towards a new gopro
The" sports cam" Looks like footage from 1993
When he said “ I think the sports cam has a pretty good angle here” I pissed my self 😂😂 nice teeth btw
Need to get one of theses it’s like a thrasher skateboard video
So 90s haha
I laughed all throughout the video! it was so funny lol that 5 dollars camera is hilarious. Greetings from Ibiza. I know this is not a comedy channel but boy! lol. Sound-wise was not all that bad thou.
Better than no camera! Haha great for that late 90’s “dad cam” footage too!
It might’ve been zoomed in the entire time
That footage looks like someone’s dad’s camcorder from the 80’s
sports cam actually has better audio quality than the hero 2 though at least
😂
Hey Seth, my friends and I had a mtb trail in the woods a few years ago and we hung a long rope going over the trail and made a dolley to put the camera on and sent it down the zip line after the rider, could look awesome doing something like that over snake pit
Sports cam is how the recording looked in the 90's
I'd say you could do worse for the money, but you actually, physically, can't find another, let alone a worse, camera for that money.
I'm curious though, would it be functional for trail footage if you glued on one of those crappy fisheye lenses that they used to make for old iPhones?
This is so unintentionally funny, I love it
To be honest: The IPhone footage was freaking amazing! Jumps, Drops and especially the speed looked way more realistic than on a GoPro where everything suffers under the GoPro-effect (everything looks smaller etc.)
I'm really impressed
Yeah the sense of speed you get from the iPhone footage is amazing
I was impressed too, especially with the sound and that there are no wind noises
The phone footage is actually AMAZING!
The $5 action camera has that vintage camcorder look and personally, i think its worth the price tag and i could think of a few things to use it for, like flash back scenes in movies.
Putting it into perspective, the GoPro Hero8 costs £320 in my country on Amazon and doing a currency converter for the $5 with the $10 shipping works out at around £12. I would say that it offers much more value than its price tag would suggest.
This had me in hysterics the way it is edited, brilliant 👍
That looked like Blair witch but on bicycles...
Exactly my first thought!
Lol. First thing to come in mind.
Agreed
