Spring Smallmouth Bass Kayak Fishing the Crystal Clear Piney River

A double digit catch day, with several species (spotted bass, smallmouth bass, rock bass) caught.The Piney River is a crystal clear river in Middle Tennessee, known for Smallmouth bass. I focused primarily on ned rig fishing using the Nikko Craw, Nikko Hellgrammite, and Yamamoto Yamatanuki on my Bonafide SS127.
I was camping at the ‪@pineyriverresort1188‬ in Hickman County, TN, and I stayed a few feet away from the beautiful Piney River.

You know, it’s probably my least expensive rod, but it’s the one I choose to use the most! I’d recommend. Good and sensitive with a backbone too.
