Yes, that's Ren playing piano at the beginning! He also composed the music for piano and strings! He directed the video and produced the music/audio. It was recorded live but it's not quite 1 take. They had to make a single edit, before the water, for obvious reasons. Yet another incredible performance from Ren! Overall, an absolute masterpiece... again! :)

I don't know on your assessment about the views. This is already at 1.5 million after 6 days. For reference, Murderer is only at 1.9 million after 2 months. Su!cIde is at 1.9 million after 4 months, and Animal Flow is at 2.2 million after 5 months. So unless the views for this just fall off of a cliff because of the algorithm, this has a chance to at least be his biggest song in the last 6 months. Even if it only gains another 700 thousand views or more. Beyond that is Sick Boi, 8 months ago with 4.5 million views, and Hi Ren 10 months ago with 20 million views. I don't know if it has that kind of steam and I don't think he cares. I don't either. I'm just enjoying watching him push himself as an artist and staying true to his vision. As long as he does that, I'll keep showing up.

watched a lot of your Ren reactions.. not usually an issue but you have major Audio issues on this one as others have said its clipping and distorted (im on headphones good ones at that ) not only that not so sure you need to worry about the last scene if it breaks guidelines then there is much worse out there which is still on show !
The audio on this one was terrible for sure. Nothing that can be fixed now of course but hopefully he figured out what went wrong for future videos as it was a painful listen to a great song.
