I used to use a beach umbrella in the rod holders too but had it blow out one day so thought I would try a Bimini. The real test will be when I go camping next. Thanks for watching. 👍
Awesome clip mate 👌 absolutely necessary piece of equipment to have, that Ausie sun can be bloody brutal same as here in South Africa 🌞 looking forward to your next adventure 👍👌✌🐾🎣
Great vid, glad to see your back. Loved the extensions on the back as mine vibrates a little being clip to saddle and it’s annoying the noise lol. I put on bars on the back to make mine a permanent stand up Bimini, it’s not open all the time just up and out of the way.
Mate I don’t have anything too fancy or interesting. Most of my gear is 10 years old. The last reel I bought was a 10000 size shimano Saragosa which I generally use for casting big stick baits and poppers around. Thanks for watching mate.
Can’t wait to see you out on the water again your videos are great mate I hope the foot is all better I found you last week and I’ve watched all of your vids already and yes I did subscribe keep it up 🇦🇺🎣🍻
Hey budd sorry missed the notification on this one for some rey🤷♂️ Well done easy as eh? for some people😁 How’s ur ankle going? Am looking forward to u getting back on the water doing some vids ah👍
Hay Big D, ankle is getting there. Had a cortisone injection in it today so hopefully that makes a difference. Next week I’m heading to Hervey Bay to spend a week in the Tinny so shouldn’t be too long before I get more vids up. How’s your shoulder? As always thanks for watching.
@@AusAdventure Wow like minds I’m planning a trip up there in a few wks to catch up with Bretto from Coastal Chaos an maybe (haven’t spoken to them yet, probs over the wkend?) the boys from Wild Reaches for a 4 or 5 day tinny mission??
Cheers mate. Yeah I have found the seat really good as long as you attach the base so it can’t move around. I’d have to send you a photo to show ya what I did.
I just put a vertical rod holder in the middle of the front seat and used a beach umbrella so I can still fish comfortably with no poles in the way

Fabulous idea. After seeing how easy it was to install I may do the same on our TrailerTri 18 before we launch. Well done!
Good luck with your install and thanks for watching.

Cheers mate. Yeah pretty happy to have a bit of sun protection now. 👍

Cheers mate. Yeah I may even do that to mine as I picked up some alloy to make it stand up but I thought I would try it out like this first.
If you find your bikini straps vibrating when running.... Just put a twist in the strap and it will usually stop the vibrating in the wind...
@@ScottBrisAust cheers mate I’ll give that a try if it becomes a problem.
Nice mate
Would love to see a video on your rod and reel setups one day

@@AusAdventure yeah fair enough
Bought a bimini. Didn't realise it wouldn't fit properly with handrails! D'oh!
Bugger.
Looks good, works well!
Yeah worked out pretty good mate. Looking forward to going on a camping trip to test it out. 👍
Well done mate. Great vid. Great work. I've been thinking about putting a Bimini on my boat too. You may have convinced me. 😄👍
Cheers mate.
Thanks for that vid mate I’m about to buy one for my 420 busta
No worries mate, hope it will be helpful for your install. 👍

@@AusAdventure Yep am frothing mate👍
👍
Nice vid mate, even added in the water test. How good is that!!
Hoe do you find those clamp on seats?
Cheers mate. Yeah I have found the seat really good as long as you attach the base so it can’t move around. I’d have to send you a photo to show ya what I did.
@@AusAdventure yeah copy that. Ive always thought about how you'd secure it properly. When you get a chance I'd love to see that photo 👌👌
Hey mate do you like the casting deck without carpet
Mate it’s half carpeted at the moment and I do prefer it with carpet because it’s no where near as slippery or hot. 👍
Did you strip the bolts bro
Nah mate no bolts stripped.
Hey mate what tinny is that?
Mate it’s a Quintrex 4.2 Top Ender 2007 model. 👍
What tinny is that?
Quintrex 4.2 top ender. My USB install video has a bit of a run down on it. 👍
@@AusAdventure Cheers mate 👍
