- I had two requests when I did my first video...could I see the spare tire taken down and could you show some information about the bench seat, so without any further wait, here you go!
That is amazing that came off ! Those are typically seized solid and you have to cut them off 🤯
I was very surprised too...but this van is lightly rusted, not super bad anywhere yet...so we'll see how it goes, but its a good sign. The spare is trash though, I have enough 5x115 spare tires floating around in better shape than that.
@@Turbo231 I guess I am used to seeing City cars , That van must be a Country car 😂
@@LooneyFarmGuy This one is fairly rusty for Alberta, he just drove it everywhere.
A full size spare should fit if you have one handy. The ‘97 and later vans only take a space saver underneath.
@@ryanfoster9863 I do have unused 14” steelies laying around for a Bonneville. If the tire size works that could work nicely.
Cool! Thanks for the update.
You bet, I'll never get to ride in it, but my kids will get to suffer!
I saw some rear passenger foot rests in a very cool Aztek which came from a Buick Rendesvous that should work in most U-Vans. . Nice to limit carpet wear too. . I will be on the lookout for them in the boneyard.
Thanks for sharing.
You are super welcome. Bench seats haven't been covered well in the forums as they are fairly rare, so I wanted to kinda cover that in a video.
I'm surprised that came down so easy. I wouldn't have trusted that space saver tire to get me anywhere..
Yeah, only for a pinch. I have a 14” steel wheel I may squeak under there.
My parents had a chevy lumina shark fin van like this
Nice, more like my 1993 I bet.
