You create profiles and they're of course available when you close down and reopen the Project Iris software. So no you don't need to go through the process of creating the overlay each time. Often a profile can be repurposed for another game with a few quick edits, especially true for games of the same genre. You can copy profiles but that involves opening the Settings file in a text editor and copy-pasteing the relevant lines. I often copy the profile I think will work somewhat for the new game and do the few edits that might be necessary.
