Soul Calibur played with eye tracking | Redream emulator
I played this with my Tobii eye tracker and Mill Mouse with Xbox gamepad emulation. At the moment the reaction time is a bit too slow for these kind of games, I paused the Mill Mouse cursor control cause this gives you direct control over the on screen Shortcuts but even this wasn't fast enough for this game. I actually had to use the jittery but very fast Tobii Windows Control cursor control to be able to activate the Shortcuts fast enough. This will probably be fixed in the future!

Outrun 2006 played with eye tracking | Mill Mouse Xbox gamepad emulation
มุมมอง 96วันที่ผ่านมา
Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast played with my Tobii eye tracker and Mill Mouse with Xbox gamepad emulation. I also had two physical switches available for an alternate way of turning, but I ended up using eye tracking almost exclusively. I'm still learning to drift in this game, just learned that there are two ways you can drift in this arcade game. Enjoy the Sega blue skies!

You can setup Shortcuts with different levels of Joystick movement. Here Shown in the driving simulator Assetto Corsa. In some clips I use only eye tracking (Nissan in California and Honda videos) and in some I use two physical switches for throttle and brrake (Nissan in Stockholm and Toyota in Okutama). In Pacific Coast eye the Shortcut is toggle on/off and gives only slight throttle, suitable...

The eye tracking software Mill Mouse can emulate a Xbox controller which finally makes time consuming adaptation to different keybinds in gaming a thing of the past. These games where quickly tested with 2-3 different base profiles I've created and that worked out just fine! Some games I would slightly modify the base layout so it would work better for a serious playtrough, but only slightly! F...

New version of Mill Mouse, new improvements. Check the website and updated manual for details. We got the ability to emulate an Xbox Controller with Eye tracking some time ago and I find it really useful. Gamepad button mappings are more consistent between games than keyboard keys so I find it easier not having to create new profiles for each new game.

Tutorial: HANDS FREE gaming with Project Iris Mill Mouse
Hey man just stopping by to say what's up you look like you know how to drive really cool
Helpful video! Thank you so much!!
hey i use a tobii dynavox and was wondering how to set up vjoy with millmouse I was thinking about trying out a game like diablo 4 through a side laptop strong enough to run it.
that's great! Refer to the Mill Mouse manual . I might do a tutorial late this year
i like it but what is the point and is it expensive and easy to do? would love to consider this
In your opinion has mill Mouse surpassed project Iris yet I think once this computer dies I will switch to mill Mouse it looks like it's getting better and better over time
Project Iris is still a bit more responsive which I've found is important in precision platformers like Rayman 1 (Redemption) which I'm playing now (I absolutely must use my two physical switches for going left / right, while I jump by blinking). Shortcuts set to toggle especially has this delay and that's a problem even in open world and rpg games, but I'm confident he will fix that particular issue. So I'd say for 3d games Mill Mouse is soon just as good as Project Iris. The Xbox Controller emulation is where Mill Mouse really has an advantage, since you don't need to change your setup that much between games. Then it has voice commands included and also facial gestures via webcam or smartphone. It also has head tracking. And of course it's also free, that is an advantage. At the same time Project Iris does have features Mill Mouse doesn't and may not get, it's unsure I mean. You can write Macros so the Interactors can do pretty much whatever you want if you can write the macro. And there's also a feature where you can select /highlight an Interactor and then activate it by a keyboard, that also means you can activate it by eye blinks. So a single switch or eye blink can perform several different actions depending on what Interactor is selected. All in all it's complex, both softwares have their own strength and might cater to different user. If you're a head tracking user then Mill Mouse is definitely the software for you. And the mouse control offered in Mill Mouse is excellent while the one in Project Iris is very much neglected in my opinion and for me it's far from a complete solution for desktop control. I mean obviously Mill Mouse is far more complex, like a Swiss army knife if you will, but Project Iris performs it's task really good and the macro function is very useful if you're well versed in basic macro writing (which I'm a bit lacking, although I've written a couple catered to my needs after some reading and tinkering).
raymind me to never play precision platformers again, it's torture lol
@@adaptivehackerkhan I really appreciate the response you sound very intelligent I'll use project Iris for precision Platformers if I do play any I just stick to simple games yeah they both have their Pros and cons but it sounds like mill has a lot of Pros you have plenty of videos I can learn from to use it right now I'm playing dead Age 2
@@adaptivehackerkhan tell me about it Boulders Gate 3 was torture for me but I play Simple games now like dead Age 2 I noticed I have more fun
Is there a way to toggle a button or thumbstick emulation
yes
@@adaptivehackerkhan how
do use vjoy as the shortcut type
@@matthewjohnson8596 no Xbox. But Vjoy needs to be installed also I think. Check the manual
@@adaptivehackerkhan the manual for what
Dude it's so good to see another one of your videos you really inspire me I'm going to watch the whole video I'm playing Knights of Pen and Paper one right now hella fun by the way do you have any recommendations for games that use Mouse only simple games RPGs if possible well guess I'll head out man I wish you the best love you
Hmm, Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis is free and mouse based on PC, you could potentially use a mouse even on the smartphone versions. I played it a little on iPhone with Switch Control but there's a lot of menus and i would rather play it on pc. I might return to it in a year or so.
@@adaptivehackerkhan that actually sparks my interest thank you so much I'm going to add it to my to do list
hey im really corious does this strain your eyes over long periods of use? thanks
Nope. I've been using eye tracking since maybe 2017. Typing got really fast after a few weeks of using.
@@adaptivehackerkhan thats great thanks
What eyetracker are you using?
Tobii 4C. Check out the compatibility list on Mill Mouse website. I wouldn't recommend Tobii eye tracker 5, it's laggy because it also has a Separate webcam inbuilt for head tracking.
@@adaptivehackerkhan tnx for the info
very cool!
yes indeed it is! Especially the fact that you can quickly re-enable mouse look just by looking at the corner of your screen.
Hey man I'm playing Dragon Age Inquisition with eye tracker and voice commands but boy does it get frustrating sometimes because you have to move the camera around and sometimes the voice commands don't work with voice macro just thought I'd stop by say hi see what you're doing that's all okay see you
Have you tried VoiceAttack? Mill Mouse btw got voice commands included. Hope you're doing great!
@@adaptivehackerkhan hey thanks I might try mill Mouse out one of these days but I'm so used to voice macro and project Iris I have to be up for it how good is mill Mouse when it comes to recognizing your voice sounds like the developer is making it a one and all program which is really cool my mic is a Logitech camera I don't remember whichh one I'm doing good overall thank you hope you're doing fine too

Have you ever had any issues with the eye tracker not always being detected?
Just came by to say hi that's a lot of buttons I'm playing the banner Saga right now tactical RPG with story and consequences pretty fun I just installed tainted Grill I mean Grail okay see you around
Hi friend! Yes it's a lot lol, I have another setup with a lot fewer keys I used in Virtua Fighter 3 successfully. Banner Saga looks cool! I just finished the main story in Sand Land and just finishing some side quests now. Thinking about watching the anime series too! See ya!

Hello, I have ALS and I am bedridden, so I bought the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 device, but it could not detect my eyes properly while lying down, is your device the same or slightly different, do you have any information about how to use this device while lying down?
what mount do you have it on ? eye gaze devices need to be positioned carefully and consitently. can you have the track status window showing while you are exploring positions so you can find out if the camera is seeing you ?

Your best shot is asking the Assistive Technology group on Facebook or the Adaptive Power Gamers group on Facebook. Also Reddit has a good community called Disabledgamers. I haven't used eye tracking laying down but I do know that people do it. I can say that Tobii eye tracker 5 is slower than Tobii 4C because this new one also have head tracking and a normal webcam alongside the infrared eye tracking, but that is not necessarily the challenge here i think.

The bar needs to be inline with your eyes. We use a gas spring monitor desk arm ($30ish) to rotate and tilt the monitor perpendicular to your gaze). Be sure to calibrate the eye tracker as you adjust the screen. The Tobii 5 is very slow though since the license caps the gaze sampling rate to 30Hz.

Project Iris. I have a full fledged tutorial on it if you check the playlist Tutorials
Oh, you mean Comfort on Screen keyboard? I think there's one identical to this named something like Hot On screen keyboard. It's based on mouse pointer hovering. I usually use my Tobii Windows Control 2 Keyboard but Comfort looks better when doing videos. I've also tried TD Control and that has a good keyboard as well. Another option is Optikey.

Never mind the Fallout profile I'm playing dungeon and Kingdom on mobile right now seems cool
@@DGD-p6d I'm interested in Fallout! So I might try that some day. First gotta do Sand Land, maybe FF VII Rebirth with Remote Play PS5 (have to borrow one), an upcoming Shenmue fan game and try out the old Mizzurna Falls on PS1 emulator. Got it all planned lol
Might squeeze in a demo gameplay of Fallout though, I might be too faint hearted for a full playthrough anyways :) I've not done too many fps shooters in my life and I still haven't fully figured out how to play them effectively hands free. Though the implementation of facial gestures in Mill Mouse might make it a whole lot easier. Still I might have to use my two physical switches to strafe left/right, most days I have the strength to do that but I'd really want to present a hands free option for those who can't.

Sorry I don't have much experience with Android emulation on pc. Can you ask someone to try it with a physical keyboard and mouse? Hey awesome tutorial I've been looking for a while for something like I have DMD so I can't use my hands for anything sorry for the life story. I just wanted to ask what your main eyegaze software is as mine is quite limited in what it can do.
What software do you have? You should try out Mill Mouse, it's free. It has everything: gaze controlled mouse pointer, gaze access to basic stuff like Win key and volume up/down, eye gaze gaming overlay similar to Project Iris, voice commands and facial gestures is also coming. I use Mill Mouse in conjunction with my old Tobii Windows Control software. I'm in the process of abandoning Project Iris and Voiceattack, I will probably use just Mill Mouse for gaming in the future. I'm in contact with the developer Yuki Yamada and he's implementing feature requests nearly every month. By the end of this year Mill Mouse will do everything Project Iris does as good as Iris does and also cover everything Voiceattack does and also what Project Gameface does. The thing I like with Tobii Windows Control is the Keyboard and that it's built so that you first select a mouse action and in the next step execute the action by looking at the point it should click, double click or whatever. The latter is a good complement to the direct cursor control of Mill Mouse. Right now it also makes sense running two eye tracking softwares simultaneously in case one crashes, it's a backup system.

Thanks bro I will try to figure out how to use camera move with Mill Mouse not sure how to do that yet but I feel like I have a whole new world to explore before I was afraid to try now I'm willing
Are you having trouble aiming or is it shooting that is troublesome? I use either a physical switch or facial gestures app so I can shoot by opening my mouth. The latter will be implemented in Mill Mouse later this year. Just so you know, there are voice commands implemented in MM so you could shoot that way also but that would mean a delay. Eye blinks are also possible but they are too slow right now and will be implemented in the future. I'm in regular contact with the MM developer and he's implementing improvements and cool new stuff nearly every month.
@@adaptivehackerkhan I'm having trouble initiating aiming with male Mouse mill Mouse I mean I have project Game Face so I could use that to shoot or something but how do you initiate the aiming so you can control the camera and point where you want to aim I see no option for that
@@DGD-p6d If you have Mill Mouse running then the cursor should follow your gaze constantly. You can look at a Shortcut to pause the cursor movement and it will unpause if you look at the screen edges. Bear in mind that Gameface have high cpu usage and sometimes it can be dig too much together with eye tracking. Mill Mouse will come with a solution where you can use a smartphone for the processing instead.

@@adaptivehackerkhan wait is it possible play game with eye? is it too hard? ofcoz it is lol. I just download this game such a classic
@@Zerofuckhasbeengiven no it's not hard at all! Not in itself. Depends on what game you're talking about. A single player, very story based and chill game you won't notice any difference at all. Competing with people online in very competitive games like Fortnite? Yes it might be difficult to win, but not impossible if you train a lot. This game is of course much easier than Assetto Corsa or other hard core sims. But I play Assetto Corsa free roam and can win against the computer on easy mode.
do you make profle for those short cuts? or create them every single time
You create profiles and they're of course available when you close down and reopen the Project Iris software. So no you don't need to go through the process of creating the overlay each time. Often a profile can be repurposed for another game with a few quick edits, especially true for games of the same genre. You can copy profiles but that involves opening the Settings file in a text editor and copy-pasteing the relevant lines. I often copy the profile I think will work somewhat for the new game and do the few edits that might be necessary.
