Great Video thank you for explaining the compatibilities of the components why you choose the specific boards / components

Thanks for all this work. It's been a great project to follow and build. This is probably a stupid question, but do I need separate screws for the case? I've printed the case but haven't finished building the PCB yet and trying to get ahead of things. Thanks again for putting this all out there.

The screws I sent with it will work with the case as well... Thanks for the order! please share once you get it together!

Thanks for the video and all the work you have done on this project. I don't recall if you mentioned it, but my board has four solder pads under the edge of the SD card. Will we be using these pads for anything? If I solder down the SD Card, it will block (or could short) one of the pads.

You do not need it. It is added for a slim option I will be doing a video on it soon.

Hey got the bw16 flashed, and confirmed it to be working but when I try to do that final serial confirmation. I’m not getting any response not reacting to the space bar or anything it’s live on device manager and all is right but no response. Even used my other usb-uart and double triple checked my jumpers. Any ideas?

Strange. Using the right baud rate? Connecting to the proper rx/tx? Connecting rx>tx and tx>rx (this always gets me lol)?

I'd call the Ameba Image Tool a tad inconsistent... you had that failure to erase, I just flashed a BW16 where it just refused to "Erase" it was just sitting in an endless loop, you could see from the cursor that it sent some command, waited and waited and waited. If I did a "Download" which erases then flashes the BW16, that runs without issue and the firmware comes up.

If the firmware works then id keep just doing that way... may try it on mine... When the erase gets stuck i press and hold reset then boot and release reset and then release boot in that order and then it will finish the erase ... seems even when i put it into boot mode before erasing I always have to do it again during.

I'm getting an error trying to flash board B. V:\wardriver\B\B.ino:392:60: error: cannot convert 'BLEScanResults' to 'BLEScanResults*' in initialization.... Any ideas?

I usualy see that when the ESP board version is too new in Arduino

@@463n7 I think you are right. I'm that dude you mentioned in the video. I changed the version of Arduino ESP32 instead of the other one.

Same result using 2.0.12 for the board manager. It errors out during compiling.

@donmccoy207 are you using the newest version of the wardriver.uk firmware or an older version. I know there has been an update, but haven't tried it myself. I have also had some say going to an older version of arduino ide fixed it. Like im on 2.3.2

I was able to flash it using the binary and esptool steps from Joesph's github.
