ESP32 Wardriver build using JHewitt's Wardriver.uk

- In this video, we will take a look at how to build JHewitt's ESP32 based device for wardriving. This will allow us to not only monitor and log wifi, bluetooth, and GSM devices we come into range of, but will also record GPS coordinates, UTC timestamp (from GPS) and ambient temperature at the time of each device's discovery.
The results of our wardriving efforts can then be uploaded directly to www.wigle.net via the CSV file that the device saves to a microSD card.

Loved the video, but the 8:27 "solution" was so annoying, why didnt you use a non-conductible fabric or foam there? lol... just align that gprs module! :(
GOOD LORD 9:13 now its the SD Card... why dont move the pins closer to the center of the board, leaving the sd card slot to be accessible from outside the casing??
UGH 10:20 the wires could be used the other way around... I died. gave up on tips after that lol

for some reasion I am getting no gps on the screen.
No GPS: No GSM: pos
I know I won't see any GSM bucause I didn't install one.

im pretty new to this and im having hard time grasping why the 2 ESP's were used :(
One does the scanning while the other complies the files of what was found and theyvswitch back and forth so you don't miss any data

It shipped to America just fine. He also has the gerber files on his website wardriver.uk if you want to manufacture your own.

hey, are you part of any wardriving groups on wigle?
I don't think 2nd esp had any physical connection only USB port was used of so why wasn't it just attached in 180 degree of now as doing so will make usb connection easy
I mean i agree but with the new updates that j.h. made you can make direct uploads via webui so you wont have to unless you have to reflash the board
