      What the BIBLE says he looked like is exactly why there’s a conversation about what language he spoke which branches off into his word which has been translated thousands of times. Gee, I wonder why. It matters. If it doesn’t matter then why is every single portrayal of him in movies all played by white men? It’s just ridiculously unbelievable that a white man lived in the desert well into his 30’s without SPF and died on a cross instead of skin cancer. But hey, he turned water into wine. I guess he turned water into sunscreen too.

  • @mysterymission074

    I’m here from Metatron, and I think what was attempted in this video was just really hard to do. There was obviously guesswork involved with creating this image of Jesus because it’s hard to know additional details of what He looked like when all you have is a colorless shape of His face from only one particular time of His life. When there are unknowns, biases, and only what people already know, people tend to fill in the blanks. In this case, the result was a face that resembled something from a renaissance painting because it was created by Italians.

      My issue with the shroud is that the head is incomplete. It is a rectangular, two dimensional slab with a carving in it. A real head would be twice as wide as the one on the shroud. The cloth would have draped over the sides of the head and over the ears. There are no sides of the head imprinted. There would have also been imprints of the ears on the side of the head imprint. It is not a representation of an actual head that was under a cloth.

    • @LucioBoccacci
      @LucioBoccacci 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You are right. But the image on the shroud was not put on there as it lay over the body. From what I've read it is as if it was extended and some sort of energy burst imprinted the image. The image, however, has 3D information stored in the way it was imprinted on the threads. Go read about it! It's really mysterious.

    For the non-verifiable traits, wouldn't have made more sense to refer on the average look of the population of the area at that time, rather than to European iconography? While this combination of tones is not impossible, it is also not very likely (also considering there are no descriptions hinting at such uncommon traits in the Gospels, letters and other sources of the period).

      Actually recent archaeological DNA evidence shows that fair skinned blue eyed people migrated to Israel from Northern Turkey and Iran 6,500 years ago. Those genes would have been well established in Jesus time.
      It is also a fact that the local population of Israel in Jesus time looked much different than today. It wasn't until the Muslim conquest of Israel in 600+ AD that the local population was replaced with darker skinned Arabs.

      It hasn't. The carbon dating was done on a patchwork of the relic after a fire. Not on the original cloth. • @mahatmarandy5977

      @@VirginMostPowerfull . It's obviously not a painting.
      I do 100% believe it's a fake, of course, but it's clearly not a painting. It's clearly an actual shroud, and it appears to have been used as a shroud, presumably on a real dead person who's had nails driven through them. Whomever forged it
      The "Medieval Repair Hypothesis" has been thoroughly debunked, and let's not forget that the Bishop of the parish where it was originally displayed himself said it was a fake back in the 14th century.
      There was a brisk trade in fake religious relics in the 12th-14th centuries, I simply thing this is one of those.
      NOTE: The fact that this is (IMO) a fraud does not mean that the New Testament accounts of Jesus' crucifixion, death, and resurrection are untrue. It simply means that this one thing is a fake.

    • @VirginMostPowerfull
      @VirginMostPowerfull 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mahatmarandy5977 It isn't. Bishops rarely take any miracle claim seriously without further investigation, they are the most skeptical because it's their responsibility to be the first line of defense against falsehood.
      Same thing happened with the miracles at Our Lady of Guadeloupe, Lourdes as well I think, took time to convince the bishop.
      It is not medieval, we have paintings that copy its form starting in late antiquity if my memory serves. Because it was rediscovered by the artists, they stopped depicting Jesus like a Roman emperor and started a more accurate iconographic tradition.
      The shroud itself has so much blood, moreover red blood which means torture was extreme, that you have to believe they tortured some random to do this which is ridiculous they could have just used paint for the blood and no one would have noticed, instead of torture to death.
      Even more reasonable, they should have used black because that's how blood looked like overtime, they couldn't have known blood stays red under extreme torture conditions, this was only recently discovered in the modern era.
      Moreover it is photonegative, you don't forge something in photonegative before it was even invented lmao.
      God bless

      Have you considered that the shroud is a negative long before photography and our knowledge of negatives? Also have you considered that it has 3d image encoding in the image? Interesting fact: in the 70's they had developed 3d image reading capability by means of computer capability for image enhancement for the mars program. Do you know that the shroud is the most forensically studied archeological object ever? The image is on the very surface of the linen. It is not a painting. The image is accompanied by blood stains in the same locations that is discribed in the gospels that tell of jesus's crucifixion. They say his blood is ab but i'd like to know if it only has 24 chromosomes. A archeologist named ron wyatt was shown the location of the ark of the covenant just outside Jerusalem near golgotha. It was hidden 500 years before jesus from king Nebuchadnezzar. Ron was shown the location in 1982. He got permission from the Israeli gov to dig it up. He 1st found 4 square chiseled holes...20' below he found a filled in cave under a mound of refuse. Inside he found the table of shobread which is solid gold then the ark. On top of the ark what looked like dried blood he looked up and there is a crack in the ceiling and there was dried blood that had dripped from the crack. Jesus's back had been ripped to shreds his blood ran down the cross and into the hole for the cross. While jesus was on the cross there was a earthquake.... That permitted the blood in the hole to run 20' down and drip on the ark that at that point was lost to the world for 500 years and not "found" untill 1982. Some 1700 years before abraham was told to take his son isaac that he did not have untill he was 100 years old to a place that GOD wouldshow him in the midsts of the mtns of moriah before Jerusalem was there and offer him up to GOD as a burnt offering... GOD stopped his hand then provided a ram whos horns were stuck in a bush. Abraham said that this place shall be called the place where it shall be provided. It being jesus's death that is able to restore a relationship between a HOLY GOD and us who are violators of his HOLY nature. Jesus also said that abraham seen my day and he rejoiced in it. Those hearing him how can you say that abraham seen your day and rejoiced in it? You are not even 50 years old! Jesus said before abraham was I AM! Exodus 3:15 GOD identified himself to moses by this expression and the jews knew full well that jesus was making himself to be timeless and identifying himself as GOD! They took up stones to stone him which is what is called for for the crime of blasphemy. Anyone else would be worthy of that but not jesus as he is GOD! He is not the father! He is not the HOLY SPIRIT! GOD is both one (echad =one a compound unity noun denoting a plurality as in a man and woman coming together in marriage are one! ) as a unity and also a tri unity! Ron had the blood tested. It has 24 chromasomes. All mankind have 46. 23 from each parent. Jesus had 23 from his mother. 1 provided by the HOLY SPIRIT to determine the sex. The jewish people teach that sin is transfered thru the male...therefor no sin for jesus!

      Since I know you are IGNORANT of actual world history here is a news flash for you. Fair skinned blue eyed people first migrated to Israel 6,500 years ago from Northern Turkey and Iran. Those genes would have been well established in the area during Jesus time. I am not saying he had blue eyes but the archaeological record proved it is possible that he did.

    The historical Christ was described in Isaiah and in historical documents. He was in no way a resemblance of the person on the shroud of Turin. The historical Christ was not a descendant of Japheth, the progenitor of the Gentiles, which are also modern day White Europeans and their descendants. When does the genetic modification of historical Biblical truths cease?

      There is no description of Jesus in the Torah. And, the Jews were olive skinned people often with light hair and eyes. This was told by the ancient Egyptians descriptions of the Israelites, and modern genetic testing. Do a search for, *"Ancient Israelites, blonde and blue-eyed?"*

      @@shainazion4073 Keep on believing in Western European liarship. I have seen the artifacts of Biblical pictures and have been exposed to the scholarship of spiritually centered persons. The true Holy Land is on the continent of Africa. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and Judah and their descendants are from there. Pictorial artifacts have the children of Jacob with a Negro phenotype. But think and believe as you please. I also know the truth about the Ashkenazi Jewish people. Their Jewish Almanac makes clear they are not the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but are Edom. Ashkenaz was a descendant of Japheth, not Shem. Those Khazarian Eastern European Jewish people are converts to Judaism. They are not genetically connected to the Israelites and are Israelis. Only 1 tribe is correctly called Jewish out of 12 tribes. The tribe of Judah are the Judeans who genetically are the only true Jews. But again, believe what you will.

      @@andrewright7556 What pictorial artifacts? ▪︎Like the frescoes and mosaics showing light skinned people in the ancient Synagogues from the third century? ▪︎Try the Dura Europa Synagogue, or the Huroq synagogue. ▪︎ The Egyptians have pictures of the Israelites from BCE where their Book of Gates shows the Asiatic (Israelites) as being light skinned with striped woven clothing? ▪︎Or maybe the description of Noah, Solomon or Abraham's Sarah in the Hebrew scriptures? ▪︎Solomon is described as "white and ruddy", "with cheeks as a bed of spices", "washed with milk", "eyes like doves besides the water-brooks" (blue-grey eyes) or "his body like polished ivory, Overlaid with sapphires" which means his skin was so translucent that the blue veins showed through it???
