salicylic acid makes your skin sunlight sensitive, dermatologists recommend that you use sunscreen and reapply every two hours. How does this product combat photosensitivity ? Am i suppose to reapply sunscreen every two hours?
It is essential that you use our ACNE cream with our AM moisturizer formulated with SPF 20. The ACNE and AM moisturizers have been designed to support each other, and will provide you with the protection you need for day to day sun exposure.
If you plan on being in the sun for extended periods, you will need to use a higher level SPF and will likely need to reapply.
Can I use it for acne spots and scars ?
Hey! The products aren’t made specifically to repair acne scars/dark spots, but we definitely recommend our products to clean your skin, moisturize/hydrate your skin, and gently exfoliate to brighten your skin by allowing newer skin cells to surface. You can imagine that bringing some new cells to the surface might help with scarring. You should notice your skin is softer within a few weeks of using Tiege Hanley.

Can tiege Handley be used for acne on your chest and back? or is that more level 2 kit for acne treatment ?
We do not make any body specific products at this time, but it is safe to use Tiege Hanley on other parts of your body.

Are the products in this kit known to be non comedogenic. Not clogging pores?
Our products are not formulated to clog pores.
Can I use a facial cleansing brush with the acne system 1?
We would recommend not using a facial cleansing brush with our Acne System Level 1. You can risk over-exfoliating your skin, which can does more harm than good. If you do want to use a cleansing brush though, email our customer experience team at info@tiege.com and they can make recommendations. Thanks!

We use the acne cream? Morning and night ? Or just night or morning?
Hi beluga - The Level 1 Acne System is morning or night, with night recommended. The Level 2 Acne System is for use morning and night.
Does the acne moisturizer do the same stuff as the regular pm bedtime moisturizer? Can I use both products at night?

Wash your face before you use Acne Cream, we like our face wash for this, of course ;)
Can I combine it with aloe Vera 92 percent from Nature Republic
For the best results, we do not recommend mixing our products with other brands.

How long should each of the creams be on your face?
After you wash your face at night, spend about 10 seconds rubbing ACNE all over your face (avoid your eyes and mouth). You're going to want to leave ACNE on throughout the night until you wash your face in the morning. If you are using our Level 2 Acne System, you will apply ACNE in the morning after washing your face and leave it on throughout the day as well.
