Parker, more grippier tires could still improve your 0-60 times. The reason why the AMG E63 doesn't spin compared to the Huracan is because the traction control is so much better.
You did it downhill and you probably made sure to have a very small amount of fuel in the tank... salt, salt just because the M5 is faster than your E63s...
The amount of fuel is visible. It's a little above half full, about 60%. Look after 13:45 . It's the horizontal yellow line below the speed and the "AMG" logo.
According to two recent German reviews, the E63 S AMG and the new M5 have basically the same straight line performance from 0-100 kph and 0-200 kph, basically no difference. Just saying. So the M5 is not slow but this doesn't change the fact that it looks outdated in the interior and sounds like crap (already heard two cars...I live in Bavaria).
The reason car and driver times are always lower is that they check the times from a 5 mph roll to minimize the affect of wheel spin. So their times are NOT from an absolute stand still.
Mercedes should not have shoved those dual screens and fancy new MBUX into EVERY model in the line up. They should have left the tech/design hierarchy intact like they did previously, and allow things to SLOWLY trickle down to lesser models. I'd be a little peeved if my $140k E63S (or worse $200k S65) shared so much visually with a $40K A class.
If that e63 comes with run flats, that will be the main reason it’s harsh, even in comfort mode. I really suggest getting some great summer tires and get rid of run flat tires, side walls are so hard in order for the tire to retain its structure Incase of an impact to the tire, need a softer compound tire and the ride will be 75% softer and way more comfortable. My f10 m5 had run flats, also my Srt jeep had run flats, got rid of those and rides way better! Especially the srt jeep with those run flats, it use to bounce around like crazy and very harsh.
Jet X Audi has the rs7 which is still brutal, if they remake the rs7 for 2018-2019, make it lighter, with 620hp which is very possible with just a tune, it will murder both e63 and m5.......ok ok not murder them because they are all super fast, but the weight of the current rs7 is the disadvantage but I still feel the rs7 looks way more aggressive and brutal.

No the m5 is not better. That difference can come down to driver reaction time and even the tiniest of factors. And in the real world having a better interior is far better than being a tenth of a second faster. They are both equally impressive super saloons. The one thats better comes down to personal preference, for me the e63's better looking interior and better exhaust note easily takes the cake.
Good point! I've driven E63S months ago and I was surprised how stiff the suspension is even in sport mode. C63S is more comfortable when in comfort mode but lacks little bit of stiffness when in full race mode. That can be easily fixed with wider tires or new springs. Anyone agree?

I’m not a bmw fanboy, and bmw has a car to compete with in every category as Mercedes. In fact Mercedes is actually lacking in a competitor with the M2. In general BMW and M focus more on the driving experience and less on the technology that doesn’t appeal to car enthusiasts. It’s only my opinion.

Bud Chronic M doesn't make just salons. Make coupes too (M2, M5, M6), luxury cars( M760, M6) roadster (Z4M) Suvs (X4 M40i, X6M, X5M, X5M50d and X6M50d,) and the new M8 will be a serious super car.

I’m not a bmw fanboy, and bmw has a car to compete with in every category as Mercedes. In fact Mercedes is actually lacking in a competitor with the M2. In general BMW and M focus more on the driving experience and less on the technology that doesn’t appeal to car enthusiasts. It’s only my opinion.

He ran the 0-60 acceleration three times, the last one was downhill but the others, when he ran a 2.7 0-60 time where *NOT* downhill

Actually the video is cut so you can't know if he went 'up and down'. Also, if you look at the yellow pavement on the right and the wooden fence that appears right after the launch, it looks exactly like his last pov run, which is clearly down hill!
Just watch carwow or some other reputable reviewer. E63S did 3.2 and M5 did 3.1 in their tests. Legit
Common parker, go on a straight road, not a downhill, I’m pretty sure it’s still super fast, but I think that downhill helped with the 2.7 instead of 3sec

If you want people to 'beleive' your numbers, you have to do them both direction and average them, if not there will be questions about downhill, tailwind etc. And it would still only be comparable to other using the Vbox.
