    By far the best LiveSight video I have seen. You have 537 views and some of the pro's have views in the thousands. It should be reversed as yours is way better than their videos.

      Hey thanks James! I really appreciate the feed back! The whole point of these videos is to provide a type of in depth, comprehensive step by step training that you just cant find anywhere else. I'm hoping by early next year I will have my website www.lowrancetrainingacademy.com up and running and will have far more videos to explain anything you could ever need to know about all the different Lowrance products! Thanks again!

    Live Sight looks like its not ready for prime time yet. At least not compared to Garmin. When you were showing the down view it looked so laggy and basically not very usable. I would love something like this for vertical jigging lake trout at about 60 FOW, but I have serious doubts about how useful it would be in the current Lowrance implementation.

  • @steveking8548
    @steveking8548 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Great job! But you should start a Garmin training agency. The LiveSight technology from Lowrance was outdated before it was even released as its most similar to Garmin's 2015 Panoptix. Garmin LiveScope was introduced in June/18 and there's NO comparison! It instantly made all of the other technologies outdated.

    • @nightanddaymarine8823
      @nightanddaymarine8823  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I agree. The Panoptix is significantly better. Its also more expensive however. I worked for Lowrance for a long time and do marine installations for Lowrance products so I really don't know too much about the Garmin products or have access to them to make videos.

    darn good video. I'm going to get the hds live 9". I have the gen 3 now. wonder if I can download livesight like you did on this video?

    • @nightanddaymarine8823
      @nightanddaymarine8823  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can on the HDS Live. Tho most likely any new display that you buy will already have the software on it at this point but not always. Just depends how long it was sitting in stock somewhere before u bought it. Of course you also have to purchase the transducer as well to go with it. So yes it will on the Live but not on the Gen3.

    • @nightanddaymarine8823
      @nightanddaymarine8823  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a Hobie out&back. I took 2, 7 amp lead acid batteries and hooked them up in parallel. I then took gorilla tape and taped them together and made a handle on the top to make them portable.

    • @nightanddaymarine8823

    • @nightanddaymarine8823

    Where did you mount the live sight box on your kayak?

    • @nightanddaymarine8823
      @nightanddaymarine8823  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I actually built a custom mount for my transducers so I could swap them out easily for the videos. They just hang over the side of the kayak essentially attached to a metal pole that is then attached to an L bracket that's bolted onto the kayak.
