I was lucky enough to see Johnny and June at the Lake County Fair in Northeastern Ohio in the summer of 1992. I remember wondering if their age (early 60's) would have an effect on the show. The stage was a semi-truck trailer, June was kicking up her heels from one end of the stage to the other while Johnny played a blistering 15 minute harmonica solo with a movie screen behind them, film of a steam locomotive. All this while high 90's heat and humidity. Encore after encore. After the show, Johnny announced there would Christian-based counselors for anyone who needed help, alcohol, drugs or otherwise. I can still feel the peace and pride in our country in the air.
"Jackson" performance was AWESOME!!!! they loved each other so much and it totally shows! Johnny Carson has so many memorable moments on this show and this is one of them for sure!

When I was in high school I walked home for lunch every day just to watch the Johnny Carson Show, a daytime show . He was so funny. That was in 1955-1956.
