Princess Anne returns to royal duties
Anne just returned to service today.
My sister in law was kicked in the head by her horse last year, she lost consciousness and doesn’t remember what happened. They found her unconscious but nobody knows how long she laid there exactly. She has a very demanding and stressful position in a well known organization. She has continued her duties. She is competent to continue her duties, because she is doing everything well enough that no one has noticed she has any lasting deficiencies. Head injuries are serious but many rebound and have an excellent prognosis. If Princess Anne need to take it easy for now, or for the rest of her life, we all can be grateful for the many tireless years of service she has provided to her charities and her country.
I say well done, and Godspeed. Hers is a life well lived. She may or may not return to public service, either way she will be well remembered.

Losing your memory about the events leadind up to an accident after the traumatic accident and a concussion is not unusual. It happens all the time. I was in a head on collision, had loss of consciousness and a severe concussion. I have no recollection of the accident or the first 2 days in the hospital except what my husband and family told me happened. 19 years later and still no idea. Unfortunately I do have some short term issues with memory loss but long term is completely intact. With Princess Anne it will be wait and see how she is doing.

We in America, have put up an outdoor prison called "Tent City" - on the outskirts of Phoenix. It's been over 110 degrees F. for weeks. No one thinks that they should be coddled any further - they have a rudimentary cooling system and they consider it a privilege to be on a chain gang, cleaning up litter on the side of the road. The criminals are those that do not require cells, per se; but are as strictly guarded as would be if incarcerated in a cell. It's a great answer to our overcrowding situation. It's helped keep criminals away from others without having to release them too early.
