Because the police have to stick to strict rules whereas the illegal migrants don't. There are teams of lawyers ready to defend migrants but ready to pounce on any officer who goes a bit too far. Think of Manchester Airport. It is like a game of football where one team plays by the rules and the referee is keeping a close eye on them, and the other team does exactly what they like. I really hope so. When I was in my teens, I visited the UK with my family and all I can remember is an intense politeness. It really affected me. Throughout the years, I have seen the British government squash, its people with unfettered immigration of people who hate the country and want to change it into something unrecognizable to the British citizen.
I remember reading on the news they were putting people in jail for telling the truth about immigrants doing bad things to children and unspeakable violence . I really hope they’re at the breaking point now and realize it’s time to hold the line and the government needs to end the policy that has created a protected environment for crazies.

The problem with fewer British students going to university, is that the universities will try to fill the gap with foreign students, thereby accelerating immigration.
how? to go to uni is very expensive in the uk. it is better to study in a cheaper country which a higher standard of education then return back to the uk for a 1 year masters degree.
What? Considering the amount of natives taking stupid degrees and the insane cost of student fees, that is a ridiculous claim. University should be for the STEM subjects. The costs keep many potential students out and the lack of focus on the STEM subjects means they are losing their point. What we need more of a trade schools and apprenticeships. They need to stop running themselves like a business, but a centre of academia again.

Unfortunately, not all of us are blessed by living in affluent areas where immigration is funny enough zero and where you happen to mix and stay within you own bubble of affluent people. Any contact you may have of migration would no doubt be of professional university degree education, solicitors, doctors, surgeons etc, accountants. We also do not have the money to make the decision to go by taxi or holiday many times a year to avoid such illegal immigrates. Instead with are living our day to day lives with these illegal immigrants that have not been vetted or checked for criminals records. Have language issues that they cannot speak English, predomantly young males carrying weapons, have low opinion of women so are easy prey, crime rate increased and afraid to let our children out. Some jobs start abd finish late and it is frightening walking home.

Keir Starmer could have calmed the situation with his first response and instead he chose to pour fuel on the fire by refusing to acknowledge even the slightest case for working class grievances.
