I have only ever heard of forscan, I have never tried to play with it but now that you brought it up I’ll do some research and maybe get into it! Thanks for the suggestion
I broke the third clip last week…cannot even remove the broken one from there. I just put it back after installing the led bar. Can’t tell any difference without it. Still quite firm.
@@flaberdoopin there are two bolts and two plastic rivets on each side after removing the grill. The brackets come with the led bar are designed for that. In Australia, there are three (as far as I know) brands offer the fitting kits. No drilling no nothing, just remove the grill as you did and fit the led bar(s) in. Very tidy design.

Not sure if you can get slim front number plates in your state - but if you can, you can remove the front number plate mount and directly screw in a slim number plate straight to the front bumper - a slim number plate wont hang down far enough to block the RADAR sensor, and the screw holes for the number plate line up perfectly with the holes for the number plate mount. I've done this to mine and it makes the front look so much cleaner - haven't had any issues with RADAR cruise control either. Gives it a super clean look without the front number plate mount sticking up and out
Is that a thing in the US? I have never seen a slim plate in the US. I may just consider relocating the front plate all together down by the skid plate or something and see what the cops say about that haha
@@flaberdoopin hmmm not sure if it’s a thing? Maybe we have them as they are similar in height to the euro style plates? Pretty much they’re the same width but half the height as normal plates… but yeah removing that bulky number plate bracket makes a huge difference to the front
@@stuartmunto4755I just found a bracket that mounts to the pax side tow hook that I’m going to try out and see how I like it. It is for the f-150 raptor but I think i can modify it to make it fit this truck pretty easily. If nothing else it’ll increase flow to intercooler
@@flaberdoopin Sounds great! Will be interesting to see how it looks. The front number plate bracket really bothered me once I noticed it... Once you remove it you will never want it back on again as it really does make a massive difference! At least to my OCD eyes
Hey, question for yeah.. have you had any check engine lights pop on yet? I only have 925kms on mine and just got a engine light on driving home from work. FordPass is showing “ the service engine soon light indicates a misfire. The engine start stop feature if equipped could be disabled when this fault is present” I’ve done nothing to this truck. Although I’ve setup my raptor mode to deactivate start/stop day one of ownership. So not sure what’s going on here. Everything drives as normal just don’t wanna take it to the dealership over the stupid shit.
I haven’t had any CEL come on. I would say that if it turns off on its own you are good to go and just have them scan it next time you are in for service but if it stays on or comes back on take it in to err on the side of caution so you don’t void your warranty or something by ignoring the issue
Thanks for The quick reply back appreciate it. Sent a screenshot to the sales guy I was working with. He suggested I call the service department and they can run a remote diagnosis on the computer. He said it’s probably just a memory code that requires an update.
Update- when I called service department they tried demoting in but I have the feature disabled.. I have trust issues. Haha he suggested I make appt.. earliest they could get me in was next Wednesday and I would need to drop my truck off for half the day. Code has since cleared itself. Going to wait a couple more days and cancel appt if it doesn’t come back. I have serious COD and it drives me crazy knowing these might eff something up while there. I’ll do my own oil changes. Everything myself that I can. Cant stand anyone messing with my vehicles cause I know they’re just gonna half ass it.
In my country we got like a Ford Ranger Wildtrak and before the Raptor came out in 2018 people used to put a aftermarket Raptor gril on a Wildtrak i also wanted to do it but i waited until 2022 untill i bought a Raptor
@@flaberdoopin yes they are the same Diesel engines of the Ranger Raptors but yk i already had a diesel from 2022 until 2024 so i thought lets try something new
@flaberdoopin I really like the way a completely de-badged vehicle looks. So, ideally I wouldn't want to put anything there. However, if it would look bad by removing them by leaving holds in the grill or something like that. I wouldn't do it. It could be a cool place for a light bar.
It is made to be played with. Why do you think the aftermarket world exists. You can’t do much without taking stuff apart. I mean if you aren’t comfortable doing it, don’t do it but the rest of us are gonna play. Just as a reminder, don’t buy my truck! Nice, I don't own this vehicle, but I find your content entertaining as a real owner of one.
Thanks! I try to keep it lively and realistic
@flaberdoopin Have you considered doing some videos on Forscan customizations for the Ranger Raptor? Thanks for your content!

Use a textil band , to remove the smaller part of the grill. Good way too save the paint
