if you have been living in one of the east african countries, i think you will come to know that there is no such thing called east african federation. there is only an international organization called east african community or EAC which was formed in 1970's by the 3 countries of kenya, uganda and tanzania but it collapsed in 1977 and then it was restored back in the 2000's, the organization's main aim is to solve economic problems , trade policies, solve border crises and other welfare issues surrounding east african countries, it performs the same function just like the European union but there was no such thing as a unification of east african countries to become one country no never it has never happened, so coming back to the story that Rwanda, Tanzania, kenya, uganda will disappear and become east african country no thats a complete wrong story.

Kenyans themselves can't see eye to eye so I don't see how 5 East African countries will. In fact if you go to northern Kenya the people ask you ''How is Kenya?''. Each nomadic ethnic group there sees itself as a nation unto itself. In fact even those living in urban areas see themselves by tribe first and nation second. With the exception off the Maasai and a few hunter gatherer groups Tanzanians see themselves as nation first and tribe either second or of equal status thanks in no small measure to Julius Nyerere. Then again it helps that the vast majority of people there are of Bantu stock. Kenya is far more ethnically diverse. Then there are the Dinka and Nuer peoples (among others) in SS who don't see eye to eye.

if you have been living in one of the east african countries, i think you will come to know that there is no such thing called east african federation. there is only an international organization called east african community or EAC which was formed in 1970's by the 3 countries of kenya, uganda and tanzania but it collapsed in 1977 and then it was restored back in the 2000's, the organization's main aim is to solve economic problems , trade policies, solve border crises and other welfare issues surrounding east african countries, it performs the same function just like the European union but there was no such thing as a unification of east african countries to become one country no never it has never happened, so coming back to the story that Rwanda, Tanzania, kenya, uganda will disappear and become east african country no thats a complete wrong story.

Kenyans themselves can't see eye to eye so I don't see how 5 East African countries will. In fact if you go to northern Kenya the people ask you ''How is Kenya?''. Each nomadic ethnic group there sees itself as a nation unto itself. In fact even those living in urban areas see themselves by tribe first and nation second. With the exception off the Maasai and a few hunter gatherer groups Tanzanians see themselves as nation first and tribe either second or of equal status thanks in no small measure to Julius Nyerere. Then again it helps that the vast majority of people there are of Bantu stock. Kenya is far more ethnically diverse. Then there are the Dinka and Nuer peoples (among others) in SS who don't see eye to eye.
