He made the mistake of leaving his right leg under the belly instead of wrapping both legs around the back and keeping Khabib from turning his body to that weak side and eventually slipping out. Did Dustin make a small mistake that cost him the belt? Yes. Is there a white belt on the planet who could get that close to taking out Khabib? Hell no Actually , I lied. Dustin came closer than anyone except Gleison Tibau. I hate to say it but Gleison very well could have, and probably should have, gotten his hand raised that night. At the Muay Thai gym I train at, last year a team of Daghestani fighters trained for a few months so I got to see them everyday. These guys were beasts! I rarely saw them get tired, they hit like Mack trucks, and had this almost cyborg like attitude that they wanted to kill their opponents, not just beat them. And, these were amateurs. So I can only imagine what Khabib is like. Cardio for days and strong as f*ck! Conor has piss poor cardio and no ground game. And, he has only one weapon standing up, his left hand. Not his kicking or right hand, just one limb. I think it will take more than one trick to beat Khabib.

At the Muay Thai gym I train at, last year a team of Daghestani fighters trained for a few months so I got to see them everyday. These guys were beasts! I rarely saw them get tired, they hit like Mack trucks, and had this almost cyborg like attitude that they wanted to kill their opponents, not just beat them. And, these were amateurs. So I can only imagine what Khabib is like. Cardio for days and strong as f*ck! Conor has piss poor cardio and no ground game. And, he has only one weapon standing up, his left hand. Not his kicking or right hand, just one limb. I think it will take more than one trick to beat Khabib.
