Nurmagomedov's US$2 million (NZ$3.1m) purse was withheld, and he could face a hefty fine along with a lengthy suspension. His lightweight title could also be stripped if his actions result in a significant suspension.
McGregor's US$3m (NZ$4.6m) purse was not withheld after commission officials examined video footage and determined his side had done nothing wrong in the melee.
