Looks pretty easy peasy. Gets a little more exciting on offroad cars when u have to chain the jack to the car to make torsion plate move. Thanks for the video.
hey there darin denis here can you telll by the buggy LOL ,,,,,october 9 th 2023 re watching this vid i had kept it wanted to send it to my big brother glenn ,,,,so he can watch it ,,,so i confirm this is the one to watch and out it goes ,,,,,,enjoy your new job boss man yes sir no sir LOL ,,,,talk later
Firebull02 was here! Thought about doing this on the dune buggy we rebuilt. Unfortunately it appeared to have been narrowed and someone had welded stops at the pivot point.
One time we tried to do something like this for my bus but the jack wasn't enough to push it back up. so what we had to do was call a guy to put them back in but he ripped us off. yeah he got him back in but that's all he did. He had a really neat tool go get it up there without using a jack though
Kit Caboodle if you have that problem again you can chain the jack to the torsion and then use the jack to jack the spring plate up the car cannot move it is chained to the jack , i learned trick at R&S
i did this SUCESSFULLY EXCEPT outer bushings from fisher the RED ONES where to fat ! could not reinstall the plate even with longer bolts , QUESTION are there diff sizes out dia on these , NO ONE CAN ANSWER ME this old man needs help on this one ,i ended up leaving the old ones in they were not that bad surprisingly THANK U
where can a guy get his VW empi wheels properly balanced in central florida , 4x130mm lug pattern ,,,,lug centric rims which means they can NOT be balanced by the hub method ! they are wrong if done like that every time . no one seems to have the adapter that fits on the balancing machine for that ! called fisher buggys according to them all their customers are riding around with un balanced wheels ,,,,,go figure ? thanks ,,,,,i chose this video to ask this question cause i did lol ,,,,,,,maybe triangle auto would know ? maybe november 6 2018 .
Very helpful my friend! Thank you!

my problem was it just pushed the whole bus up and eventually knocked it off it's jack stands. I probably had it at the wrong angle though
