By far, this is the most bass-heavy speaker I've ever heard on Flossy channel. This is crazy! My earbuds are literally shaking. $1700 is TGH, but the bass and the experience are unmatched by any speakers in that price range.
I don't think I've ever seen floss let the whole second beat ride out like that. He really just stood back let the speaker do its thing. The bass is so crazy, it's drowning out the mids and highs
For indoor use obviously you need to fix the EQ from the app or else it'll drown with bass, they intentionally pumped the bass so it sounds balanced outside. For indoor use I had put Bass at -2,Mids at +2 and Highs at +1 on my 710,after this the mids and highs sounds crystal clear with good amount of bass for indoor use.
Holy crap the low end on this is insane. I know my earbuds arent doing it justice, but its not just boom, it actually sustains the 39hz (guessing by ear)bass note , especially with bass boost on, with the flossy carter test song by Mark Rebillet. Most bluetooth speakers cannot go below 60hz at all.This is Incredible! I'm very impressed with the bass, and the highs are still nice and crisp.

Got my Sennheisers on for this and ohh mann, the low end is definitely coming through despite all of youtube's compression. Got a man standing here contemplating a poor financial decision. The RGB lights are crazy with it swirling, circulating lighting effects. The flashing lights underneath the box from the side view are equally mesmerising. I really do love the whole design and its overall function. 😎💯💯💪🏾👍🏾
dsp does not defy physics. it prevents distortion and can dynamically boost bass at lower to mid volume levels and other various eq adjustments. I work professionally in AV and an audiophile. I can tell you when pushed hard these would not keep up next to a 18inch pa sub judging by the sub size and speaker basket/magnet. I would not be surprised though if this actually hit deeper than most pa subs.

The sound is amazing and the lights are mesmerizing. I want it but can't justify the price as good as it is. What makes these JBL's so good is the wood woofer box under the plastic. I was a Sony portable speaker guy until the party boxes came out. This is at the top of any list.
I just learned about powered PA speakers. I know they dont have batteries, but actually the removal of the battery opened up the sound capability. I got a used harbinger 2000w for $200. Thats not really the quality option, but for $1000+ i could get one that would literally blow my eardrums out

Can we talk about the light show on this beast? I mean, I don't know what type of algorithm they are using to fire up the different scenes, but man this is a huge step up from the previous generation of Partyboxes! Hopefully they'll be able to implement this feature on old partyboxes via firmware update.
It’s sort of disappointing at this price point that the light sequences are not synchronized. I can see the right speaker lagging in the light control command.
Finally got the Bike Life song, actually the full song in an insane speaker like this! I own a JBL Partybox 310 after seeing Floss's review and its amazing! I like to losten that Bike Life song the whole day long! Thank you Floss!❤
9:02 you can only laugh like that when you ever been in front of these speakers 😂. I completely understand floss it blew me away my first Jbl experience was at an electronics shop, and it was the partybox 710. I remember thinking "what the hell is going on here". I did end up testing the boombox 2, encore essential, harman kardon go + play, xtreme 2 and 3 charge 5 but the 710 reminded me of my two pioneer A30S4 12's in my crib powered by a 1000w Monoblock car amp but if it was portable and a lesser bass but up there 😅.
I have the 710 and i know it's pretty damn impressive.. I couldn't imagine how loud 2 of them would be. So 2 of these would just be totally insane. Yes it's a lot of money but if you take care of your things, you may be impressed how long they will last.

Listen to this: I own a Partybox 300. When I place it in one corner of my room and then sit in the opposite corner, I can feel the bass heavily in my chest. Now, I can’t begin to imagine how it would feel if I placed a Partybox Ultimate there instead.

Just bought 2 of these on sale and I mainly use Apple Music which has Dolby Atmos but this speaker only seems to play Dolby Atmos through Amazon music for example. Is there a way I can get these speakers to work with Apple Music? Loved your video by the way very helpful. I had two 310’s before. I can’t believe you got these ultimates both up past 50%!!!😂
Definatley. I will buy 2 of these although the party boxes have been in lately as a Dj i still love me speakers either side of the decks. The decent lights mean no setting up a light frame. just plug and play

It is crazy what DSP can do nowadays . These "little" bass units on the JBL Ultimate sounding similar to a 18 inch Club PA . Crazy !
