You weren’t the only one. Was a beautiful moment
I hope someone from Tourism Australia sees these films . Far superior depiction of our country than anything the so-called professionals come up with . Props Ken.
Bloody oath.
Hey Kenny that was a nice touch ringing the wife from the phone box. Old school.😊 Good to see you up in our country again. Heat plus rain = the Wet Season in North Queensland. At least the windscreen stays clean😅 Thanks for the video Old Mate 👍
Thanks 👍
You videos are fantastic. More professional than the real ones on TV.
Thanks Terry
thanks for all the effort it takes to film yourself getting in and out and the driving past.
Great. Can we have more captions on the places where you are and the towns you go through. thanks
Loved the phone home bit.
Ok… I’ve been a bit slack lately lol

Awesome job again. I thought someone hacked your channel and replaced the music with hard rock music. Ha ha. No it fit in well.

Watching your video was such a treat, and it helped me to relieve my lungkot of being away from you for many months. I felt excited and happy to see all your activities along your trip.

Another great video, Ken. I'm glad to see you find time to ring your wife. I've never been up to Tully when it hasn't rained. Be safe.

Thanks Ken for another great video. Possibly one of your best ones yet. Thanks for showing a little bit of Mareeba. I always wanted to have a look around up there. Nooks to be a nice place. Bit of a shame you couldn't show us what you wanted to with the trailer. Maybe one day.
Thanks, Ken ... as always fantastic video. The quality keeps getting better. Great touch phoning Joyce and her inclusion in it. 👏👌

YOU HAVE SOME GREAT MUSIC GOING ON IN THESE CLIPS. I LOVED THE PERSONAL TOUCH RINGING THE MISSES.
other great one l loved the bit when you called the wife
Awesome vid/vlog once again Ken. That’s was some pretty flash camertry with the wife at home over seas mate 👍🤘😬♥️. One thing being on the road is being homesick, apart from sitting in a seat a lot with my back and not seeing loved ones for days/months I couldn’t do what you do mate, I take my hat off to all you decent truckies. We’d be screwed without you lot.
Thought the A trailer was going to get stuck in the middle of nowhere 😱 , great vid again , I miss the North, have had some good times up there , ps , we'll see ya in a couple weeks Ken 😁👌✌️👍
Another great video ken ... them days of stopping at a phone box when you see one to call home to check in on the family brings back memories when on interstate good to see still a few phone boxes around safe travels Ken 👍👏
Gin GIN is a great place to have a good feed and rest allways heaps of truckies there so must be good

Thanks for a most enjoyable trip Kenny.
No problem mate
Top fan,
Thanks Kenny for another great video sometime days are tougher than others but we thank you for your time
Take care
Great stuff Kenny . You bring back memories of the long distance trucking.I started off in the 80’s in a fibre glass Atkinson 350 hp ,carting grain and fertiliser intra And interstate .After I got tired of that I went to general on eastern seaboard and the odd trip across the paddock .I gave it away and for the last 16 years I have done local .Seeing you bring back some good memories . Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Whoa, Great video Ken, awesome to see you adding your wife Joyce into your video well done.
Again keep up the great editing, and thanks for another awesome video.
I miss driving up in FNQ, never done it as a trucky, but generally with the family car or in those annoying Military convoys which I know annoys all road users, don't worry they annoy us driving in convoy too, but we all have to get to our destination together safely, as annoying as they are. Great episode Kenny and a touching moment calling the wife, it'd probably surprise a few not from Australia just where you'd find some of these isolated phone boxes scattered throughout these small remote towns.
If you’re looking for them they’re everywhere
Thank you very much for sharing your journey with us. We are privileged to see whatever you share with us.
The truckie life certainly makes for very long hard hauls and exhausted sleep when you get a chance to take your stop.
It was lovely to see your beautiful wife's face light up when you called her.
Take care of you and always stay safe out there on the roads.
Great edit, Ken. Simple, but connects the whole story together, including music, drone and a little Asian traffic action as well 09:13, nicely done. Nice segway into Joyce receiving and call. Wondering if someone within the big wide world of TV knows about your channel. See what we can do. haha. Another really entertaining video, Ken and many thanks for the time you take to do this, on top of your heavy schedule. Stay safe out of the road, Ken. :)
Thanks very much,I’ve been thinking of how I could film this for a while now lol
Afternoon Ken
Morning
Awesome editing and footage!
Thanks Grant
Great video mate
Another cinematic masterpiece. They are great to look forward to. Ken works such long hours to keep us entertained. I hope viewers can see these videos on large screens. Phones do not do them justice.
Thanks so much
Hiya again ken, one tyre tapping trick that I've seen online and that I now use on my t360 agitator is an alloy fish bat, essentially a mini baseball bat.
Hey mate. Sorry we couldnt turn the sunshine on for ur overnight up in mareeba. Keep up ur videos when u get time too. We love them all. God bless u and your wife. Long distance is hard. Take care and stay safe mate.
Thanks Ken. Gotta love Far NQ, especially the Tablelands.
We all struggle with the box roll 🤣. Stubborn bloody things at times.
Great drone work too 👍🏻.
Brought a tear to my eye when you stopped to call Joy. You must be missing the family big time by now. Another few months and you’ll be back home again. Keep those wheels turning until then mate 🚛
2 Front pallets on the back trailer go to the back of the front trailer then drop the front trailer behind the back one.
Lol
Love your job Bro, thanks soo much to You and many other truckers whom help our country function/progress. Without you fullas - she/he/they/them lol, our country be stuffed. Thanks BRo. PS Cairns such a pretty place, been there a few times. Sooooo pretty / tropical.
Great video. Nice touch with the call to your wife.
Another rippa Rita ,well filmed and edited once again, yeah we’re getting a bit of a normal wet season this year in the north.
Had to a get a cold VB outta the fridge to wash the lump outta my throat when you went across to the phone box lol. Say g,day to Joy and all at home from all of us.
Stay safe Kenny and keep on trucking mate
Yet again, thanks mate. Good stuff👍👍
Nice filming, content and editing once more, good to watch.
I think all of us missing our 'other halves' can really relate to the phoning home bit. Another great video Ken well done
fantastic as always, ken. it's the people like you who inspire me to become a truck driver when i'm of age. kudos!
Hi Ken great video, loved the editing @8.40 and 9.13.... I don't know how many times I've driven round the market trying to pop the pin out. Or your mates walking along the side of the trailer pushing and pulling the air switch.
I did a 14 month stretch doing Europe China back in the late 90's, and must have used every phone box along the way to phone my wife at some stage. and trying to work out the time difference as well. + 45 in the summer and - 35 in the winter....
Great video mate and like many have already said such a lovely moment ringing your wife from a pay phone! It's lucky the pay phone worked. Lived seeing far north Queensland mate, haven't been up there for a long time. Thanks for explaining how things work on the truck mate. Travel safe buddy and know we greatly appreciate your content..
No problem mate, bit of a malfunction but we got there in the end lol
Great one again ole mate , you need to head over soon .. Ole mate from Mildura 👌
Geez mate, you don't have a mobile phone? Their pretty handy when you need to contact someone or you need to be contacted, especially when you're far away from home in your job, and for the date and time. But I assume you have your reasons for not having one.
We love your truck too, mate. It looks fantastic. It sits beautifully on the road. It's a nice cab, and the trailer liveries look cool.
I love watching your videos, mate.Keep up the great work.Well done.
Take care out there on the road and let the cowboys go.
See you on the next one!
Cheers from the Gold Coast. 🇦🇺👍🏽
Wow, your really smashing it with your filming and editing ken. Well done, really nice touch with Joyce getting involved . I work away from my family too , it’s bloody hard . Drive safe mate.
Thanks Ken for your great videos you travel over a lot of the ground that I have, it's good to see the improvement in the equipment & roads that you travel on now , cheers mate stay safe "RB"
Thanks 👍
G'day Ken, don't stress about not getting shots of backing etc. I saw the one where you said it's taking too long to edit and I noticed that you have many shots taking off where one will do. We are just along for the ride and scenery and I am sure that if you have leftover videos of the same route you can use some as a filler to save you time. Just a thought, and if anyone complains, it's their problem, not yours. Setting up camera shots takes a lot of time.
Thanks mate,… nah…I’m not using old footage to fill the gaps, it’s not all that hard to do a quick shot of something I think might look good, I’m enjoying the process of it all and learning new ways to film this stuff, makes the trip go by quicker and keeps me busy, I try and make the videos as interesting as possible
Good to see you again
9:45 - was half expecting the music to cut off suddenly when you shut the door. It's all very filmic what you do Ken!
lol… I’ve finally worked out how key frames work
The roads don't look too bad after all the rain. Miss my old stomping grounds up there.
Thanks Ken, will catch up one day
great show mate you put life into perspective have a good one. ps my dad used to stop and ring mum from a phone box when i was a kid in the truck.
Ken, your best yet. Firstly, banging to some high speed rock then getting teary with some real emotional bits. I know what it's like to be away from family for some time. Take it easy and safe travels. Cheers😉
Just Question about your employer....If you had a home to go to here in Australia would they work out your runs so you end up home for your 24 or is it wherever you happen to be...I understand that your home is overseas so wouldn't matter to you I guess...mate the editing is getting good that bit there got me were you made a call to the misso....its the hardest thing about the job...
Thanks Steven, yeah,if you live somewhere they’ll usually get you home for your 24,but a lot the blokes stay out for a few weeks
Great content as always, Kenny. Keep it up, I love to see our beautiful country from your eyes.
ecellent
Well done again Kenny. Looks liked you copped some the big wet that FNQ has been getting this "wet season"!
Bit different scenery than down here ,, salt bush & dust actually there a tad green here and there RIPPA AGAIN KEN CHEERS SOUTH AUSTRALIA
