I make it to the end of most of your videos. I understand that some folks think your videos are too long, but I binge watch several in a row, so it works for me. Thank you for providing the volume of helpful info on the places you visit.
After following a few other Thailand YTers, I stumbled across your channel and never left. Your low-key approach is just perfect. Occasionally, you get into technical aspects, whether computer equipment or making reservations or finding something, and I like that even more. I hesitate to say anything because your videos seem just right, so I’ll just say feel free to give us the technical and logistical side of things every so often. Thanks!
After watching this I just spent five days on Koh Chang. Stayed in the Secret Garden resort, and had sundowners at the Rasta View bar as well visiting one of the best bars in Thailand Indie Beach. Was fortunate to be there last night when the live band was on and it was epic. Fortunately I live in Hua Hin so could make the trip fairly easy. I’d never been to Koh Chang before and even though it rained for a couple of days still had a great time. I wasn’t prepared for the steep inclines to and from the Secret Garden but at least I could walk on the beach to and from Indie Beach bar who also do great food. I had lunch at I Do I Do yesterday and that was great as well. Keep up the tremendous vlogs 👍🏻
There is something about your voice that i can not describe even to myself. You sound so calming, so comforting... Every video you make feels like a therapy. I can not thank you enough for doing this. Wish you all the best friend. Hope this lasts as long as possible. Cheers!
Another great Vlog I was not expecting the view of the lake that was stunning. I like the many Rasta bars very cool and I like to smoke . I haven’t seen any in Vietnam but we are definitely 20 or 30 years behind Thailand when it comes to tourism. Thanks for the uploads.
What a great video again. I'm literally addicted to your channel. I don't know if i should wish that you would stay at Koh Chang forever so that these wonderful videos never end or that someday i can move there myself and never turn back. Totally paradise...
hi once again from yyc..another incredible video, beautiful scenery and I love all the accomodations you,ve visited! Much appreciated if I was ever to visit(and sometime in the future perhaps). Time will tell!! Your living the life, good on you for chice, some of us are hesitant to relociate. Alas I!m in mouring, Flames no longer now its Oilors and I"m not a fan. Enjoy paradise !
By far my favorite video of your Koh Chang trip. So laid back, great scenery and food selection, and most importantly no expat bars to ruin the atmosphere. I've never considered a trip to Koh Chang until I saw this video and now I'm adding it to my list of destinations in Thailand.
You’ve transported me to yet another fantastic tropical island paradise! As always, superbly done in every aspect… the ‘exploration’ angle of each of your gem videos is addictive!
Love all your videos and this was a gem. I wasn't going to retire unitl 65. (I'm 54) I may bring it forward 10 years. I've found my Thai island destination, and the Rasta Bar sold space cakes. Nuff said!
Klong Kloi would be my choice. I love the individual huts on the beachfront. Those big apartment blocks just don't have the same appeal for me. Gorgeous beach and so much to explore 🙂
Thanks for the video 🙂👍 that is my favourite island in Thailand. I think that Koh Chang is still island where local People go for weekends and longer holidays
Cant wait for your new videos! You give me alot of motivation to go to work so i can afford going this winter lol Also, i would highly recommend going around the island to the east side, the roads and views are amazing there on Koh Chang
I had my best holiday feeling ever on a 9 day stay on Koh Chang. Was there in 2017 together with my gf and our (then) 17 year old daughter. Never felt happier on a holiday as those days. Always enjoying your videos. Thanks for them !
I love with this beach. By far my favourite on the island. First time I came I also left from Sea Flower. I've made the trip 4 times in the last week. Today I'm staying in White Sands Beach and I still rode all the way to Klong Kloi for the day. The nice thing is that once you get to Lonely Beach, well, even a bit north of that, the drive to Klong Kloi is just beyond gorgeous. The downside is it looks like a great place to hang out at night and I totally missed that. Spot on about the beach loungers. This is the only place I've ever found outside of the old Sihanoukville, Cambodia before that got bulldozed, that you can sit on a lounger and no one will even come and ask you if you want anything. This beach has that old Sihanoukville vibe, which I felt immediately. I've been here eight days now and wanted to explore for myself, but now going through your videos to make sure I don't miss anything. I have watched these before, and they are pretty much what inspired me to check out Koh Chang.
Great video as always , I would stay where you was . Always watch to the end . Never to long . You do a great job and makes me want save even more to get there again . Can’t wait for next video #1 utuber STL in my eyes
Really enjoyed this one loved the Rasta bar with the view. Your surprised anyone watches these videos meanwhile I'm sitting here like what's taking him so long to upload. Lol. Love the content and appreciate you taking us along for the journey while also providing great Intel along the way.
That little bridge crossing that cut about 200m off getting to that sweet little beach used to be a Super sketch footpath about .75 meter wide. We used to drive motos across it but it was about as sturdy as some of those rickety boardwalk ways at the pier. Nice to see someone improved it! That's also my favorite little chill beach.
When we first visited Thailand it was Koh Samui we went to. Lamai. Loved it so much we've been back every year since excepting the Covid years. It's beautiful there and we love it but maybe we're guilty of being in a comfort zone because you have truly opened our eyes to so many gems. Krabi, Railay, Koh Chang is stunning and some of your best work but for me Khanom was my favourite. And relatively 'undiscovered' so to speak. Loved your Khanom vlogs. But anyway. Samui again in 6 weeks I'm practically agog at the thoughts of being back.
R B thanks as always! Enjoy your trip to Samui and no need to feel guilty being comfortable in paradise (this is what vacay's are for;) But if you get a chance deffo check out Khanom. I may head back there soon myself. Btw, any looking in who missed that series here's an intro: th-cam.com/video/bwVt5uFEyRM/w-d-xo.html
@GottoLoveThailand Enjoyed your vid from the East side of Koh Chang, resort looked really nice. Also enjoy the good natured banter on your channel and good bunch of guys on the panel. You are absolutely right, that area is definitely worth a visit. Perhaps on my wander through Thailand this coming winter I will check it out, however I gather from your comments that it would be a hard place to leave. "Aw shucks... I'm stuck in paradise", would be my first thoughts and my second would be "where's that Rasta bar?''.
Oh my goodness! I do love the way you find these beautiful and inexpensive places to stay, holidays are too short to even touch the surface 😅. Liked the free sunbed observation 😉.
Always make it to the end with your video's. You convinced me to go back and explore Koh Chang in october (if the weather let's me). I've been to Koh Chang once before but stayed on white sand beach.
Answering your question I would rather stay at Klong Kloi. I like the peace there and the laid back area. Very nice. Great video. Thanks for all of the info for this area!
Watched to the end, hoping for a view of long beach on the other side, ko chang looking great again 👍 is Thor's Palace open on white sands? His clifftop cocktail bar was amazing too.
I like your videos about Thailand. I lived in Vancouver for 7 years! Part time in Kitsilano. I was also a deckhand on a salmon trawler for 3 years, off Tofino and Ucluelet. I am originally from France but I got Canadian citizenship. Now living in a tropical island looking a bit like Thailand! I add on your chanel !
Bienvenue! Great backstory! You really got a good look at BC, from lovely Kits beach to a trawler up Island, wow! Thanks for watching my vids, cheers! STL
I have a pretty good feeling, that I will be spending a good portion of this winter, in or around the Ginger Home restaurant and bar. Thank you, good sir, for the introduction! 🙏🎸🇯🇲🏝️😎
Oh man, so many accommodations you’re showing. Heading back to Koh Chang again this Saturday and can’t decide where to stay. Thanks for the amazing vlogs!
Hiya. Great video as always. Envious of your travels. Always so informative. Great places to stay. And go. Bars and Beaches. Your chicken curry looked good. Beautiful views. You are great for always sharing the info. Maya's guesthouse looks lovely. Chilled vibes as always. So many lovely places. Rasta bar. Love it. Love your vibes. Thank you for sharing. Have a lovely weekend.
“I’m astonished anyone watches these things.” 🤣😂 Well, you are entertaining and have fun and informative commentary - not to mention the appropriate enthusiasm for your incredible surroundings! 😎 Appreciate you sharing all that you do! Including singing a Will Nelson song instead of Bob Marley. It still worked. Haha ☺️ And cheers. Keep holding the fort down there in Thailand until I can get back! 😋😉
made it to it to the end. Taking notes for my retirement. Don't worry, I'm getting data from other sources, too! But yours are definitely the videos I actually ENJOY watching!
Yet another gem my saved videos on you tube is full of your vlogs so much information & great places to see & stay thanks again when I finally retire to Jomtien a lot of my trips will be based around your vlogs 👍👍👍

Just got back from this part of the island. Ginger was so happy when I showed her your video was the reason I went to her bar. Also did the other reggae bar onvthe main road. Great place for a relaxing few days. My only grip is it's not great for walking and I love walking.
Thanks kindly Tim. Ginger and Chan were lovely, their place too, complete gem. I walked along the shoreline to Rasta View & pier (a bit tricky and marshy in spots) and then back over the hill via the road. Regret the park behind was closed at the time so will check out that area next time.
Really enjoying your videos, we’ve been watching from the start. We’ve got three months booked next year starting in January. We’ve got two weeks booked in Koh Chang and it’s one we haven’t been to before. Thanks for showing us Koh Chang love the Rasta bars too. Cheers
Great video, as usual. Keep up the good work. BTW, if you ever feel like doing a who new series with a LOT of condo + rooftop pool videos, I would watch them all. I've seen the previous ones, but I know there are a lot more options just waiting to be shown!
Thanks Zed Nine, may do a tour of my present condo upcoming, it's a real gem and possibly another series, we'll see. For any looking in, here's some prev great value Bangkok condo tours (some with rooftop pools;) bit.ly/3aVLU0Y
Watched till the end 😉 My favorite YTer from Thailand, and somehow you keep me interested the whole way until the video ends. Following you since you had just a few videos on a channel and will watch your videos even when I go back to SEA (for a longer time). Much love and respect ❤️

Really enjoying your videos, we’ve been watching from the start. We’ve got three months booked next year starting in January. We’ve got two weeks booked in Koh Chang and it’s one we haven’t been to before. Thanks for showing us Koh Chang love the Rasta bars too. Cheers
Cheers Norm! (suddenly reminds me of a great ol' TV-series;)

Thanks Scotty!
Watched till the end 😉 My favorite YTer from Thailand, and somehow you keep me interested the whole way until the video ends. Following you since you had just a few videos on a channel and will watch your videos even when I go back to SEA (for a longer time). Much love and respect ❤️
