I paused the podcast to look at his coverage and watched that video. I feel sorry for the guy. Im also intrigued, but not enough to give her money, let alone $20/packet.
@@tenphes3 I tried the bottled version from Walmart which ended up being a waste of $8. It tasted like garlic powder and onion powder dystopia of pure hell
Comment for Brian here! I live in Tokyo with my wife (who is Japanese) and we discovered a pretty damn good sandwich idea the other day from throwing together leftovers. Kimchi and tonkatsu grilled cheese sandwich. Sounds weird, but it’s good! You should try making it sometime, maybe with a touch of that gourmet magic you’re so good at👌
In the first 20 minutes I laughed harder than the last two podcasts combined (I mean that in a not asshole way, just great). Cat in a bag joke was dark and fucking funny. Great job guys
Chef Brian made a profound statement when he said that food represents love for a lot of people. I cook/bake as a sign of love, and I only really cook/bake for my family. Occasionally, I cook for co-workers (we have a monthly potluck with a theme). Funny story-- the *only* time my wife ever got jealous was really early in our relationship when I made a pan of enchiladas and took them to a neighbor that I was worried about. So yeah, that hit me. Food and cooking are physical manifestations of my care and affection for those that I love.
Yesterday, 7:00 rolled around and the podcast hadn't dropped... I didn't panic, I just figured you were running late again. But time kept passing and still no podcast. Turns out, it wasn't Thursday yesterday 😅 Hope you have a happy 4th! I'll catch this podcast tomorrow
It's always the three syllable words that stand out in people with French accents. I had a French chemistry professor and I could never recreate it, but the way she said "measurement" always got me 😊
I usually light one up to go with the podcast so this was nice lol. Your employer is one lucky soab with you as a boss. He should forget one every week so it can be regular segment😂
1. People really need to stop using the title of "Chef" so willy nilly. Just cause you've cooked in a commercial kitchen, for private parties, or even passed a culinary program, it doesn't make you a Chef. You have to earn that shit! Pink sauce lady especially since she didn't know the "F" in FDA stood for food. 2. Some of the most appreciated tips I ever got as a server were joints.
You should get some of the pink and blue sauce powders and make a video. Each sauce packet has instructions for a sweet version and a savory version. You should make both versions of each sauce and critique them. Should be fun. Failing that, August the Duck tried to do this himself and made a video about it. You should check it out.👍🏻
You and Frenchy need to try Jollibee Chicken, It's my favorite out of all of them, the spicy is great. You should get some and try it on one of your Podcasts. Love your show guy's!
Difference between the blunt and a joint is the blunt is wrapped with cigar at 100-200 mg average of nicotine and the joint is just paper with no nicotine' the tobacco is what we call spin in Aus'
@mithrandir4074 Its the same in Aus but many here aren't aware of the difference between spliff and joint because we've historically always spun with tobacco due to the high price of weed here.
100-200mg of nicotine? That’s more than enough to experience nicotine poisoning. Blunt wraps are thin as hell, there’s maybe 1-2mg at most. The average cigarette has like 3-5mg of nicotine…
With those kids Rick Rolling the town-where my oldest graduated, they kept putting up random banners for Red Lobster coming soon. The Facebook pages for the county kept getting all excited about it. It was so funny, because it’s a dry county with no liquor by the drink. Red Lobster would not of opened there even if it wasn’t having financial issues, because they couldn’t sale alcohol 🦞
I love the small bit of trepidation from chef Paul about smoking weed. Restaurant, catering, and hospitality culture for.......... Uh ever. Pretty sure you weren't allowed to have a restaurant, catering, or hospitality company without a few smokers. Love you guys
If you do decide to react to August making the pink and blue sauces, *please* look at the pinned comment. I would love your reaction to that. Also, the video gives you two a lot more info you can give to the audience about what NOT to do when sending out a product. It’s baaaad. Great podcast, as always!
Hill Country BBQ? Well I just perked up considering I live in the Texas Hill Country. Speaking of which, I still think you two guys need to come out here to the greater San Antonio area. I can make sure you two get fat with the food we have out here lol. We do have an amazing little french patisserie for Frenchy. Obviously great tex mex and on and on.
I'll be visiting both of restaurants one of these days. I'm going to wear the Handsome Thing T-shirt and if I see Frenchie, I'm going to put my hands on my hips and say in my southern accent, "There's that handsome thing!!". Don't worry I'm straight.
We probably have that natural reaction to blue colored food is because blue is the rarest color in nature. Also Chuck Norris jokes are the best Jesus can walk on water but Chuck Norris can swim through land.
I got a question. To Brian & Paul (or anyone else with experience) Is it worth it to go to culinary school? I used to want to open my own restaurant and dreamt of going to culinary school. Also was going to try to look into getting a BA in business but I gave up. After trying a few different avenues, I still haven’t lost my love for cooking & baking. I love learning about different foods and techniques. I’m just not sure about trying another career and possibly hating it like my current profession. Lol 😅 Edit** if either of them sees this. It would be cool to hear them talk about this on a future podcast!
Chef Brian, Kudos on keeping employees that you know smoke weed but as long as they do their job, you are ok with it. I HATE the smell of weed but I understand that some people have medical issues and need to use it. I bet you'll have a lot of applications after this postcast. LOL
Feel like it's too late for Pinkie, but she could make a killing pivoting that stuff into a frosting. Market it for gender reveal, baby shower, etc colors. Push the "made with natural colors" aspect as well. But I agree with Frenchie...that's enough of her
Guys,, soooo long, just get down to the gritty, But I love your content,,, it's, just becoming a stretchered out PCast. Snap up please Greetings from Swellendam (see if you can work that location out) Regards, Dan

I live in Japan and usually abstain from drinking. And yeah, I can’t speak for all of Asia but drunk dudes here definitely take shots at my manhood for it. I am a very large man, so a couple times just to make a point I’ve drank them under the table. I just don’t feel alcohol and they get wasted after two beers.

I love you reactions to whatever is related to cooking, even Kay etc. But I agree witch Frenchie here, reacting to this kind of content is pointless and I personally do not even find it enjoyable (make no mistake, I still enjoy your reactions, but your reactions on valid content are more valid themselves also). This is just spreading the nonsense even to those untouched by it. But I still love your content so if it brings you clicks and likes, it probably has some merit (but that is really sad). Torturing Frenchie and some viewers.... well... for giggles and obliteration of brain cells, reminds me of TV (and I do not have that intentionally).... Note: I believe the word "marijuana" is correctly pronounced as "marihuana" being a word of Mexican origin (comparable to "fajitas" etc), not "marigiuana".
I hate my physiology - I can't stand the smell of weed and edibles have little to no effect at all on me. I wish I could take it for pain and anxiety and it doesn't do a damn thing.
Smoking a joint during the funnies would be such a great regular segment 😂 loved it

i love that all the drama has to be watched vicariously through the august the duck filter. it's too much to handle in its raw form
