I went last night and dragged another social misanthrope and two more of our friends out. We went as a foursome to a movie tavern and it was great. It was worth saving up cash and going out to a theater for the first time in 5 years for this!!! We had a blast
I'm very bad in public situations so me initiating and planning and inviting and hosting was a big deal. I rose to the challenge and I'm much happier to day because I pushed myself. Good job my guy!!!!!
This was very wholesome and I loved it. You can see how even when Bert is quite different in his lifestyle from this other family, he still has such a charm and they like him a lot. Like.. just the fact that they came to do this. As a family. Bravo Bert!! Made me feel good to watch!

My advice for anyone seeing this movie ... 1) go to the bathroom first (you might pee yourself laughing so hard), 2) get all your snacks first to ensure you won't miss anything and 3) bring tissues you'll laugh until you cry!!!

Especially being a kid watching Star Wars, since I had Star Wars pj's, blankets, curtains, slippers, and I watched Return of the Jedi at the theater when I was six or seven years old. Thank you Bert! We went to see Bert’s stand up a few hours away, because we are such huge fans. And he was hilarious. We would have LOVED to have gotten an autograph or photo with him, and we even stayed at the casino/hotel hoping maybe if he wasn’t too busy he may come over after the show for some drinks, but we would never harp or stalk him just to get it. He’s a human being. Be respectful.
