I just got a pair last night, as a birthday gift. After selecting which inserts work for me, affixing the wind screens, and test fitting them, I went to charge them; they would not charge. I plugged the supplied USB-C charging cable into the charring port - the red charging indicator light did not illuminate. To make sure it wasn’t an issue with the cable, I tried the cable with another device, and it charged that device just fine. To make sure it wasn’t an issue with the charging indicator light, I left them plugged in for an hour, and they did not take a charge. The person who purchased them as my birthday gift, also purchased Axil’s extended warranty. Hopefully the exchange process will be painless - we shall see. So mine where D.O.A., which does t give me much confidence in the product.
Sorry to hear that. I was at a match last night and pulled mine out to find that the battery was dead. Reminds me I need to put them on the charger. Hopefully they charge up, but battery life isn’t very good for me.
I’ve continued to use these because it’s 100+ degrees every day right now. Still not impressed at all. Another problem I’ve found is that as I sweat, the foam plugs on the ear buds get wet. Once they are wet, they don’t stay compressed and allow you to put them fully in your ear. You have to try and shove them in which doesn’t work well.
And that’s why I didn’t buy them. Reviews had 5 stars on its own site, but you go to others and it says 2-3 stars. Main reviews on TH-cam are from affiliates and that’s why I wait for people like you to do an honest review about the product.
It frustrates me how many people sing praises for a product just to make a couple bucks but aren’t honest (or at least fully transparent) in their reviews. I did keep my Axils and will continue using for now, but I remain disappointed in the sound quality. I just sweat too much in the Texas summer heat to wear my Peltors right now.
I did not. Probably should have, but my procrastination got the better of me. I should have though. The more I used them, the more frustrated I got with the crappy performance. Fortunately, the temps are a bit cooler in Texas and I’m back to wearing my Peltors! I’ve got the second set of Axil’s I’ll sell you cheap if you want them!

Honestly, I think they suck. Haven’t worn them in a long time. My Peltors from 2007 are far superior and have lasted a long time!
