Tonight's upload is about 2 hours later than usual, because of all the activity of the last two nights--2 concerts, 4 bands, 1 monsoon (you'll see it eventually), and a lot of hanging out with members of all four of those bands.
Anyhow, it was Mark Slaughter's birthday, so Jeff Blando prompted the audience to serenade Mark. I learned later that there were plans to have original drummer Blas Elias come onstage to present the cake, but his flight arrived too late--Blas was playing the next night, with Stephen Pearcy. It also turned out that this was one of THREE cakes for Mark. I saw the other two after the show, over at the hotel (yes, I got invited to join the party--I go WAY back with Slaughter; over 30 years).
